ok, i'm lvl 39, i already screwed up my healing by putting entirely too much into my first healing spell, and have been attempting to max out my buffs and attacks at the moment, any suggestions on what i should lvl up for healing seeing as i'm the resident higher lvl cleric in my faction?
any and all imput and suggestions are appreciated, thank you.

I only have one healing speel. Ironheart. Nothing more. Wellspring is lvl 4 (more than enough to spare some mana when ppl is hurt a bit).
Im lvl 55, I can already have my Ironheart at lvl 10, but its still at lvl 8, why? Too many sp which I cant spare and too many mana cost considering the amount of healing that improved furter lvls.
According to the bosses Im handling and the help I give is more than enough.
Attack spells >>> Healing>>> Buffs
That mostly my priority, giving to buff many time more relevance than healing.
UNLESS your guilld is always available to help you lvl up, party you, and help you with every single quest, you should worry more about attack spell. As you advance in game mobs deal more damage and are harder to kill. Also if youre not pure build, start capping Vit to 60-70 max and put those points into magic, otherwise it will take you forever to kill mobs.
Or you will be doing the most idiotic behaviour you can find.
Cyclone>>> Run>>> Cyclone>>> Run.
Hope this help0 -
believe it or not it does, is ironheart worth leveling by the way?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

yes u want to max asap or at least get it close to max because it is a heal over time spell and its stackable so in the long run you will be able to conserve vital mana. And a tip before your tank goes to fight a boss cast ironheart on him before he aggros. This will help you conserve a bit of mana too."Avarice, Envy, Lust, Pride, Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony"

I wouldn't say max iron heart asap UNLESS you are purely support. Otherwise, only level it when you feel you need to, For example,my ironheart is only level 4.However I'm a nuke cleric so supporting is NOT my role unless absolutely needed, but when I do need to heal my iron heart works perfectly fine due to it being stackable.0

I disagree. I say max iron heart as soon as possible. It will be the skill you need to lv up a lot faster (and cheaper) compared to the usual way. (http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=63421 for reference. It works and it's cheap, people will be lining up to be with you)
As far as atk skills for questing, you really only need just the 2 basic ones (quill and tornado). If you want AoE skills you only have 1 that doesn't cost vigor.0 -
DEFINITELY max Ironheart Blessing as soon as possible if you plan on playing healer to your friends/faction. This is, simply put, your one and only healing spell for tanks. If you use it correctly you won't need any of the other direct heal spells.
For attacking, max Plume Shot and Great Cyclone. These are your primary grinding skills and are quite cheap to raise to level 10. You can also chuck a few points into Wield Thunder, if you wish it.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Like I said,I agree with maxing Iron heart right away IF you're a support cleric (hyrbid or not, you'll end up supporting in groups) I'd rather you read my post correctly instead of misreading. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine.0

if you want to play as your class, a healer then you will still need to max plume and cyclone
after that max ironheart is absolute must ASAP!
wellspring is very usefull, but not need to be maxed
get party heal and purify, stream of rejuvenation is really usefull later on too
also max buffs, but i wouldnt bother with the regen HP/Mp buff, mine is lvl 1 still
also you really should get your res up as high as you can, aim to max it0 -
if you want to play as your class, a healer then you will still need to max plume and cyclone
Later on, Wield Thunder will easily out-damage cyclone and you will use it a lot more against wood monsters, even though thunder lv1 isnt mana efficient comparing to casting plume shot twice.
Im lv56 and my main attack 99% of the time is still plume shot. Only use thunder on these situations:
1) Mess around.
2) Wood monster, cast thunder+cyclone (lv1)+plumeshot+thunder again, target usually is dead now.
3) Monsters with increased Defense, takes a little longer to kill casting plume shot than switching between thunder+plume until they die.
Dont get me wrong, cyclone is a nice spell, but it will do the same as plume shot and your only advantage will be against "defense increased" and wood element monsters, so why waste points on it? You could just get your heals or defensive buffs better and take less damage from them or heal yourself after the battle.
The spirit cost to get cyclone to level 10 is ALMOST the SAME to get ironheart to level 10, so you see what im talking about...after that max ironheart is absolute must ASAP!
Lv10 will just add extra 5-10 hp per tick and cost 22 more mana. You can wait until lv60 or so to max it.also max buffs, but i wouldnt bother with the regen HP/Mp buff, mine is lvl 1 still
I want to get it to lv10 as soon as possible, but the 200k+ spirit cost is a real turn off...
Right now i regen like 20 mana per second out of battle, meaning i can cast 1 ironheart every 10 seconds (lv9 ironheart costs 207 mana) without my mana actually going down.
Remember that extra hp regen is also a "passive" healing, keeping people that take only 1 hit health high enough so you dont need to heal them imediatelly, they regenerate that damage in 10-20 seconds.
While grinding, i sit for 2 minutes (go afk drink water or something) and when i come back my mana is full.
Now about pdef and mdef buff, yes, max it as soon as you hit lv30, both should be at very high levels already. the +60% all resistances will help you out a ton when doing Qinzi (FB29). At that level, a wizard with lv5-6 earth shield can reach 4-5k earth resistance, enough to tank Qinzi without much stress for the healer.also you really should get your res up as high as you can, aim to max it
