What is wrong with today's guilds?

So here is my story in reverse order:

I was asked to join 2D guild, so I joined it, talked with guild from time to time, helped to do fb19. And then about a week after joining it they kick me out, ???

While looking for people to help with fb29 runs, I noticed a guild was looking for people lvl 20+, GoSu was the name of that guild, the guild was active, but then the leader of the guild stopped showing up online, so did players, untill me and my friend were the one on, some other from that guild joined another. We waited for about one and a half month to see if anyone would show up, but no one did, so we quit.

I was doing some quests, and someone party me , and we spend quite a bit of time questing together, and then I was invited to the guild. The guild looked like it was made out of junior high schoolers, based on the way they talked and everething, I was the oldest one in. I was in that guild for about 3 weeks, untill one day, I find my self without a guild.

Dont remember how I joined that, all that I remember , is when I was testing out a new class to see if there is much lag difference between pw-my and internation version, there was a someone inviting members to the guild. So me and my party joined. Few weeks later we noticed that all of us are without the guild.

The other guilds, cant remember that far back what happened to them.

So my question is , what is wrong with todays guilds, when I was in pw-my, I never had that issue. I was pretty in the same guild for pretty much the whole time span since pw-my relesed english server.

    Why don't you read some guild advertisements here. Most of the guilds who posted here have lasted quite long.

    ViTaLiTy for instance was here since the beginning of the OB.
    Shadow was also here for a month or two.
    RavenHawk is also a very resilient guild that has survived the test of time (and drama).

    No Urdthedevil is right. My guild is going through some tough times and are kicking people for no apparent reason. Im worried they will kick me. Why they would, dont know. Guild dont seem to be as friendly as they used to be.

    They'll recruit you at any level; they just say it's 40+ :) Oh right, they lowered it to 35 now.

    Well anyone can start a guild, but running a good organised and succesful guild is a lot of hard work and not just anyone can cope with it.

    I know I was in a guild when I first started. Similar thing happened, leader merged with elysium, but then put in a lvl 1 alt and didn't give control to anyone else. Of course, after that it was mass exidus b:bye

    So then joined another guild, and after a little while, the leader had a melt down and kicked everyone out, got rid of forums and moved into another guild, but wouldn't give anyone leadership rights, so once again b:bye

    Now I'm in a new guild, most made up from the one mentioned above and I love it. Doubt I'll go anywhere anytime soon. It is a casual guild, no hard core, really don't have any lvl requirements but also don't have any plans on doing TW just yet. So I guess, it is just if your lucky in finding the right guild. (In Sinful now and loving it b:pleased)

    The guild me I and my friends have just created, Amenti won't do that. We have decided that the only reasons we kick are for childish behaviour, anything offensive or if they remain in active for two weeks without letting someone know they will inactive. We'll always give a warning to for behaviour and only kick if it continues.

    We were sick of chilish, immature, in active guilds so we created our own, lol.

    We welcome anyone that is friendly and active. Tyring to ensure we end up with a lovely family ^.^
