Ok, I am new, this is my 3rd day owning and playing.

Two questions.

First off, is there any site, or picture reference, or how to, on the character customization screen on what aspects, and how to's of facial shaping and such? I have never worked with something like this before, and I understand we only have like 2 days after initial creation to change or modify the looks. Right?

Also, I head that stuff in the boutique can only be bought with RL money, is there any way to trade in game gold for RL money, or the game version thereof?

Thanks.

you can't trade in-game gold for real life money though. bad bad bad

All of the items I saw today in the Boutique/Item Mall were in gold and silver, which I guess is converted from zen. Mosc has said you can also get it at the auction house.

I read a post with a conversion rate. it was like (purely from memory)
    $1 = 1 gold = 100 silver = 100 zen? = 80,000 to 100,000 coin

so gold and silver can be looked at as dollars and cents. Something costing 1gold, 50 silver is $1.50 if you go through zen.

    For guides, try www.1perfectworld.com.

There's a quest where you get a makeover scroll, which allows you to alter your appearance again, and more of them are at the Boutique.

There's a noob guide I just read with some good Q&A and some obscure questions, but it's good to read. http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=7481

And I made a thread called "Streetsmarts & other info" in the General category today you might find helpful.
