Yes, this has been a problem for the past few weeks. I would like to know what would you do and how would you handle this war against the bots.

If you want to report a bot, please go to: http://support.perfectworld.com/ticketing.

Currently the people who are selling gold is: CGS.

If you find anymore people trying to sell gold on our beautiful game, post it here b:laugh but don't post a report.

If you have any questions or comments, just pm me b:cute

NOTE: I am NOT a wannabe mod or a GM! I just don't want bots ruining 'my' game so then 'my' game would become the total disastrous MMORPG on the internet.

Good luck and happy hunting (Aurelius the original sayer of Happy hunting :D)!

I just right-click bots/godsellers/etc. and select "Report Hacking" and send in the report from there--it's alot easier on all of us really, as then the GM's can get to them fairly quickly without going through a bunch of background checks or chat logs and stuff. b:victory

If you can't find the character's actual catshop, sending a screenshot or cropped screenshot of the offending spam to our support team (preferably in jpg format) makes it easier for us to track down the logs and deep fry the spammers.

The bots are just spam bots and the problem is that unlike mat collector bots of other games that can have their profits pinpointed to certain players, their actual workings seem to be more like contracting a bad case of genital herpes by mating too much with internet ad generators.

There are often plenty of break outs of these spammers followed by administrative action (kick/perm ban/ suspension), but in reality these actions prove for the most part about as affective as suppressants, eventually the spammers will just come back en masse. The only REAL way to get rid of gold spammers is to punish those that buy from them and track them to the ends of the world. When you get rid of the "host" the "parasite dies".

And yes, I just compared gold spammers to genital herpes and parasites.

    -Yours,
    Dr. Bean

P.S. for ultimate spammer relief try ban-on, apply directly to the spammer.

You can also right click the name in the chat window and report them from there to make it even easier.

ok, i cant add to much but right click and select follow, can be one way to find if by chance ur seeing the gold chat onn screen, ur toon should auto run to them, or select report hacking on the name in chat, as many bots u see, and if they r lv 1 elf flying / hovering in the air even selectiing following should bring to right under them Look Up,

Yea thats what im going to say.
If you see the chat screen of any character offering gold/powerleveling, right click on the name on the chat screen and click follow. And you may reach to where the person is, even if they are putting up a kitty shop. b:chuckle

ive seen LVLING bots that got away with weeks of botting non-stop
but ive seen others get banned

selective banning by GMs or just fail to catch them, who knows ;)
    A patch full of glitch,
    Makes my eyes twitch.
Should i continue playing this game or switch,
because this is a serious problem and not a simple itch.
Some bug abusing noob gets rich,
While a honest players get the ditch.
Please rollback if you wanna enrich,
or this game would just be a ****

even people who get caught botting dont get a permaban. i've reported some where the GMs responded saying they caught the botter and a week later i saw him back in game again. i know of 1 person who has been caught twice for botting 2 separate accounts. maybe its a 3 strike and your out rule. not sure what the incentive is not to cheat when you dont even get banned for it.

    Oh-kay...so I'm still a bit confused.
How do I detect if someone is a bot?
    1) Clicking on their name and select follow--what should happen?

    o3o What else?
