Baby pets - can venos use them in battle?

I would like to get a rare pet (Elysium Fowl) to use in battle. However, the mob is level 73 and I am only level 36, so it would be ages before I could battle with it. It would be better for me to get an all-class egg and level it up from level 1 so I could use it. The problem is, I am not sure if this is even possible. Can venomancers use the all-class pets as battle pets?

    Nope. Only venomancer-specific ones can be used in battle.

    The max level for all-class pets are level 1. They cannot fight. Their only purpose is to look cute and make you look cool.
