Twin towers issue?

I go to do the twin towers quest at lvl 50, but I get halfway through and can't do anything after right clicking the stone for being in the area of the tower. It wont let me get a quest extension from the pillar. just says to go to the top of the veiled tower and check up there. I trashed the quest and now it wont let me restart. Someone help me.
Why did I choose a Veno?

    This is a known issue with this quest. I contacted a GM and told him what I did which was pretty much the same thing you did by trashing the quest. The GM told me to submit a ticket on the main site and they may fix my character so I could retake that quest... they never did. Therefore I never could complete that particular quest. b:angry

    I hope you have better luck at this than I did.

    so did you go to the top of the tower? what happened?

    It works normally. You have to talk to the pillar after you find the demon on the top and talk to him.

    I did go to the top and tried to talk to the tower. Absolutely nothing happened. I even went to the other tower and nothing.
    Why did I choose a Veno?

    I had a problem with this quest on my venomancer a month ago. I clicked on the quest box after I flown up to one of the towers, but I got nothing. No rep, nor spirit.

    ok i done this quest , went to first tower (veiled tower) as i approched the tower i recived the stone.
    went to the very top of tower and found the statue/stone.
    approched it as close as u can then clicked on shard in my inventory it vanished and a conversation started.
    finished the conversation then clicked on statue/stone and there the quest end was clicke don it talked to the beast and then it ended and i had to go to arch and talk to elder.
