Is Jolly Old Jones permanent?

I noticed Jolly Old Jones is back giving away his Jones' Blessing item again. Is he going to be doing that forever or is it just temporary? If it is temporary, when will he be leaving?

    hes most likely here for just the holidays and will be removed once they are over.

    then again he might be removed after the next update next monday.

    He was not giving away costumes nor was he selling prize boxes, he was only giving his +30 attack item away.

    I hope they remove him soon. I'm tired of him keep popping up when I'm using the search for quest function.

    Well, he does fill in the gap left by the departure of the Termporarily disabled NPC.

    Jolly Old Jones will be sticking around for a while, and will be the center of several upcoming events. He will no longer be spamming your "Find Quest" function after next week's patch.

    I noticed that when I grabbed the +30 attack item he stopped appearing in my quest finder so if you just get that from him he will no longer spam you because he will no longer have any quests for you to get.

    Is he going to continue to give the +30 attack item after next week's patch?
