Weapon help

Hey guys, I just started PW, and since archers are my favorite class in every MMORPG ive ever played, I started one. Problem is, I cant decide what we to use.

I love the look of Bows, and hate xbows, the only problem is that it looks like xbows are waaaaaaaay better. Any thoughts?


Plus, does bow speed effect how long/fast you can cast skills?

    Basically crossbow is best for pk and slingshot is best for grinding. The bow is in between.

    early on especially just get whatever best you can find any of the 3 work well
    at low levels you are leveling pretty quickly so just get what you can find, later on youll focus on getting the legendary weapons

    I loathe the looks of both crossbow and sling.

    Can I use a bow at high lvls for PvP and not gimp myself TOO much?

    at some levels there arent any good bows, at level 60 there is only a crossbow to choose from for practicalitys sake, besides that at other levels there are decent choices for all 3

    One last thing, do yo mean JUST lvl 60 or so, or everythign after 60?

    I've been wondering about this myself. I definitely like the look of a bow alot better but so far yea, the stats of the bows never seem as good as the crossbows. I've been using a crossbow since I got the one you get from your fb19. Then I switched eventually to a Giant Crossbow which I am using for now. The one from the fb19 was better then all the other ones you could get as I was going through levels 20-30+. It just seems wierd to have a variety of weapons in a game but most of them are not used because of ones you get early on that are waaaay better. I've been thinking about saying **** it and going back to using a bow just to see how it goes. I would really rather be using a bow.

    Well, if the dmg difference wasnt that big I would use bow anyway for the looks, problem is, there is a huge difference
