* (l) Using or exploiting any bugs, errors, or design flaws to obtain unauthorized access to the Service or to gain an unfair advantage over other players,

Since someone just posted this as a response to bannable bugs.

This right here puts everyone who bought the Halloween things for 10,000 coin into a bannable category as it, was exploiting a bug/error to gain an unfair advantage over other players.

So GMs what say you to that? Because, my logic is sound, it is a clear violation of that rule, yet nothing was done to punish or balance it out.

You really should read the rest of the Terms of Service. They are legally binding for MMOs, unlike a lot of shrinkwrap EULAs.

The relevant quote would be :
PWE may take any actions and impose any penalties we deem necessary to discourage and punish any violation of these terms or any other illegal or inappropriate conduct, all without prior notice or warning. The determination as to whether a violation has occurred and who is responsible for such act is solely within PWE's discretion, and is based on what we deem best for the community and the Website.

The people buying them had no way of knowing that the 100,000 was not a typo and they meant to charge only 10,000. It was quite reasonable to buy them for 10,000 at the time since that is what the guy was charging.

I was just basing it off what you said in that other thread.

By that same logic someone could claim they don't realize what they are doing is a bug, since it is like that at the time, and they never saw it another way. For example they could assume Gouf was meant to be fought with Air pets since he doesn't heal up since he can't fight back.

To assume that a merchant is meant to charge the amount he is actually charging is very different than assuming you should be able to kill a boss monster by yourself with no chance of you or your pet ever getting hurt.

It is unfortunate but you have to realize the way they setup these ToS rules. They made it so they can twist **** how they please. It loop holes that only GM's can take which leaves us players at the mercy of their banhammer, even if the reason isn't legit. b:surrender
