New mage player saying Hi

Hi, all. Just wanted to say hello to everyone on Sanctuary server (I decided to join Sanctuary instead of Heaven's Tear 'cuz it's newer). I decided to quit my old mmorpg that I've spent playing for 3 years that I got to max level, so now I'm moving onto PW after some extensive research.

After reading forums, I decided to go with the Mage pure magi build. Yes, I hear they don't last long in pvp, but pve has always been a priority for me. How's the community as far as being able to find a party to do some quests together? I come from a game where there is no real party system, so I'm really excited for PW's party system.

I'm a pretty hardcore mmorpg player, so hopefully when I'm higher level, I'll be more easily recognized on this server b:bye

Hiii I'm happy to see a new wizard on sanctuary going pure magi build [Welcome to the lonely world of Pure Magi], you'll see a little amount of wizards roaming the server, even less pure, AND even LESS high level, so being recognized out of many, I don't think that will be such a problem at higher level. At this point I'm lvl 62 (also pure), I have not been able to try out PvP as I am just interested in leveling at this moment (PvE). The community at PWI is rather mature compared to other mmorpg's and partying is practicly awesome (in my eyes).

Woot woot! Welcome to Sanctuary!!! I really like the server (well, it's also the only server I've played on thus far, but whatever). Hope you'll like it! =)

Hehe, I made a last minute decision and decided to make a WB Barbarian. Going with "recommended" build - str/dex minimum req for weapons, rest vit. So far I'm really enjoying this class. I also decided to go with this class because there seems to be a low amount of them in PW (even more so than wizards if you base it off number of threads in each class discussion forum). Maybe now I'll get into parties and dungeon quests a lot easier now as a tank b:laugh

though I have to disagree on the less amount than wizards :D, sure you see alot of wizards at etherblade, though a vast majority of BM ^^. at 'high level' (read: on this server) I feel the lonely winds when it comes to wizard.

One thing is for sure, you'll be asked for teams ^^; I won't =( aaah I'm hated ='(

Old man sitting by the wall at the Elders house in Etherblade raises his head and says in philosophical tone "No, you're not hated. You're just not known enough. Many guild members seems to talk their business through private channels like whispers, guilds or world chat in these days. But the main channel that is a prime source of information for the old man like me. Well, young lady... i never get to hear the news or deeds you have said or done over a guild channel. And though you are becoming more famous inside your circle... you are also alienating from the common people. Yes I noticed you on a recent wraith war. and you were instant-deadly. But you stayed silent and I never got to know anything else about you on that day.

I'd love to have a wizard as a conversation partner when I'm at the bonfire in some stronghold resting my feet. but young people always seem to be busy-busy-busy even in this world."
