Can someone please point me to the official thread that lists PWI bugs that are bannable? I do not want to get banned for not knowing what is bannable. Is there such a list? GM's please help if you know where this list is!

From the Terms of Service :
The above is an inclusive list, rather than an exclusive list, and PWE holds the right to close any account at any time for any reason, or even for no reason. That said, they do tend to be reasonable about things.you agree not to take any of the following actions:

* (k) Cheat or utilize unauthorized exploits in connection with the Games or the Service;
* (l) Using or exploiting any bugs, errors, or design flaws to obtain unauthorized access to the Service or to gain an unfair advantage over other players,

Perhaps super over emphasize this point here for those who think its still the Game Designer's faults.0 -

They probably wont post a list of bugs because then most ******* will go and do said bugs to see if they work >.<[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Do a quick search of the forums and im sure you will find many threads on glitches/bugs.0

Answer is too vague.
Throwing up the TOS works for specific questions, but the question had to do with the current hot topic glitches and what to avoid. People are confused on what they can and cannot do in this game. Players are scared and only want to be informed. A general list might be beneficial for educational purposes, especially new players. Sure, there are lots of threads, but most do not offer anymore clarity than the next.
Example: I flew by Gouf today and some venomancer warned me not to kill Gouf or I could be banned. That was a fun conversation to say the least.

I found a great way not to get hurt while killing Feligan Bowmen was to stand on the tents around Sumor Camp. The Feligar Minions usually aggro when you attack the bowmen, and they can't get you on the tent. The bowmen usually take a second to figure out what's going on and usually can't get a shot off. You can kill 45 without taking a HP potion. Is this an exploit that gives me an unfair advantage, or a nice little survival tactic?
Same situation. I'm killing Feligar Bowmen around Sumor Camp while in PK mode. Some PK comes down to kill me, but can't because I'm fighting monsters in a safe zone. (Sumor Camp area is a safe zone for those who didn't know.) Is this an exploit that gives me an unfair advantage, or a nice little survival tactic? As you can see from the examples, it's all a matter of interpretation.
And that interpretation should be up to the PW staff.
To be fair to the Mods/GMs, we have to look at things from their perspective. Case by case basis might work best in situations of bugs. It could hurt the PW community if all of a sudden a big list was posted. Can you imagine how many of the "more honor than thou" patrol would be out there flooding the ticket system/GM contact/WC with tattles? Can you imagine the madness of 1 person getting banned and not another? The touchy feely not uh I'm tellin' mentality of a lot of players means well, but can wreak as much havok as rampant bug exploitation.
So I support a general list of sorts for the questions that keep getting asked specifically. Sure, some 7stars might use it, but as turtle points out,How can you expect people to avoid doing something if they don't know what that something is?

I agree with Aurumfaramon, if there was a list people would use it (then cry when they got banned....)
I think its pretty hard to oops and use most the bugs. such as with gouf you have to hit it just right from what i can tell.. so you'd have to actively try to use it[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
We read the TOS, at least i did. and THAT is why boogiewoogie00 is asking i'm sure. Because there seem to be bugs and glitches that may be old news to players that been here for long, but are new to new players like boogiewoogie00 and me.
I figured out now for instance that its exploiting a glitch when you attack Gouf with a airpet from the air, so it cant do any dmg. And same for luring bosses of their place so u wont have to deal with the mob that is at his orriginal spot. (however i find these examples hard to live with... like.. FIX IT?!)
I ALWAYS fight with airpet, and i could have thought "wow gouf is easy!!" being oblivious of the fact i was abusing some glitch.
If you ban ppl and they dont even know what they did, they might just go and do it again. If we dont get told not to do something, because we are supose to do it a differant way, while our way works, then how we supose to know we abusing any buggs.
I know a complete list is impossible, but a list of glitches and exploits that have led to bans in the past maybe a good idea.
This way you might actualy see me file a bug report when i think i found one, stead of me being afraid to do so....

Actually you will be banned for the scenarios you posted if caught by a GM. There have been posts by GMs/Mods in other threads about situations like this. They have been very clear on what would happen if you were to be caught.0 -

I can understand that if PWI posts a list, some peple might exploit them. However by not posting the list IN DETAIL what the bugs are due to the those people, you should not punish those who accidentlly and unknowingly exploit a bug. There should be warnings to those who are exploiting a bug before there is any negative action such as banning!
I have played and spent money on many other MMO's and by far this one is the best and I have spent a great deal of money in this game. However if I am banned for accidently exploiting a bug that NO ONE is willing to give a detailed list of or warning me of at the time of the infraction, then that would be the end for me and it would cause me to leave this game as much as I enjoy it.
Please either pot a public In Detail list if possible or if that is not the I need someone to inform me that warnings are given to the players prior to handing out punshments.0 -

Are you SERIOUS? The bowmen can still shoot you and you still take damage every so often if your stuns miss. Come on people, this is ridiculous.
What's next? Flying and shooting people while in a PVP TW being an offense that warrants a ban? Sure, you can do it, but it's kind of unfair if you look at it a certain way.
But I suppose being upset about that is a tad hypocritical. I mean, PW staff should be interpreting these situations as I just stated. It only makes a better case for a posted list of things not to do. If not, someone should take the time to make a thread that has links to GM/Mod responses regarding hot issues and then that post should get a sticky.

On my cleric I'm always looking for places to stand on or behind so that I can get the most shots in before the mob does. I don't think that should be a bannable offense.0 -
You mean we can't shoot the bowman from the tent?
I would have thought the tents was provided there for a reason. Something to do with us using wit and being creative about how to survive these mobs. We could jump up and catch a breath before we're almost dead, and then carrying on when our hp is full or something. or as range archer or magic we can attack from the tent. I thought this is what the game design is about, to let us use our wit and creativity of how to make use of enviroment to survive better in the wild.
If this is bannable, please remove the mobs from the area!! OMG... can't believe this... get banned from trying to survive ingame....0 -

If you did a quick search of the forums you would find the posts from the GM/Mods were they have listed similiar scenarios as bannable offenses if caught.
And what exactly is it that you search for to find these threads. I have to know what the bug is to be able to search for it. It's like finding a needle in a hay stack.
The only bug I know of is the Gouf one and that's only because I did a search for him to find out where he was at and just happened to find a thread on it. And based on this bug alone I'm afraid to even use my flying pet that I've taken Months to lvl.
And if searching the forum is the answer for finding bugs, How often am suppose to do this, weekly, daily, hourly or every time I go to kill any monster at all??? I don't even know how many bugs there are. How do I know if I've read about them all, that is when I find out what to search for?

Well that does it for me. This version's GM staffs do no care whatsoever about the players.
A lot of us (myself included) have been asking legimitate questions concerning the game and possible exploits but the GMs have refused to clarify on the matters.
I am officially packing my bags to other version of the same game.

I did 1 search with the words "Glitch Bug Abuse" in it and found 7 threads concerning the matter. It's not hard to find them if you try. Imagine if i had actually spent time lookuing, I might have found even more.

I searched for bannable offenses and got only a few hits. Which should show every bug that is in the game that you can get banned for.
The problem is With either of our searches we have do idea if we found them all. Correct?? With your 7 hits do you know for a fact that those are all the bugs. No you don't and that is where searching fails.
There needs to be 1 location that has all the bugs that exsist. Example: A Sticky on the forum created by a GM. This is the only way of knowing all of the bugs at any given time!0 -

I should have been a little more clear in this situation. I would say if you stand on a object/house/tent/rock for the sole purpose that the mob can't attack you while you are attacking that mob, would be considered glitch/bug abuse. It is no better/worse than a Veno using an air pet to attack a boss and abusing that glitch/bug.0 -
To end my point of starting this thread. To ban people for using a bug that they have know way of officially knowing about is the same as in real life, as someone getting thrown in jail for breaking a law that exist in any law document.0

lol...if this is the case i suggest removing all obstacles in the game...no props, no houses, trees, rocks, etc. cuz it would be an "exploit" if we were caught standing on a rock...
plz dude get real, don't be such a zealot trying to look holier than thou... if i got banned for standin on **** and killing mobs then **** this game, i know a few other games that are a lot less ridiculous.. and im sure most ppl wouldnt want to play a game that bans ppl for something as farfetched as that...0
