    Read between the lines : the 20% rebate on xp srolls was not going as well as expected. So the Powers-That-Be decided to extend the event in the hope to finally reach that 6000 mark to finally see the sales of xp scrolls sky-rocket through the roof. b:chuckle

    Pitiful...Pitiful PWE... Why not extend it a year to make sure to reach your goal?

    Now THAT show that this company cares more about money than their community b:chuckle

    Let's make some maths (and hope I don't fumble, I'm poor at mats...)

    Let's saw a mob generally givs you 300 xp

    300 + 1.5 (50%) = 450 xp

    Add to this another 50% bonus by using an XP scroll :

    300 + 1.5 + xp scroll 50% = 675

    Not really.

    It don't help much at lower level. The bulk of your xp comes from quests.

    It will mostly benefit the higher levels who zhen 24 hiours a day that are big buyers of xp scrolls and MP/HP charms.

    And new players that will come after the event will have an even harder time to catch up with the rest of those who had the XP bonus.

    I personally feel anyone 30+ should get some benefit, yes the majority of my xp still comes from quests but that 50% extra will be nice.

    Whether its is a marketing scheme or not (ok so it is) there is no need to keep trashing it, to what goal are you striving? If they cancel it all because you dont like it will that make people happy? No, they would rather have the 50% extra xp and gian what ever benefit from it they can.

    You really need to untwist those knickers of yours, dear. This is a F2P game with a CASH SHOP. They are not unlike any other consumer based company, in that they have sales to promote their product and to increase profits. How would you like them to maintain the free game you play, with love?

    You really need to take a step back, take a deep breath and reassess the situation. If you think you can come to terms with businesses requiring profit in order to survive, then continue on playing... if you can't, then I suggest you just leave. They won't stop making money just to please you. b:bye

    This really cracks me up. People complained that we didn't get the 1.5, and were demanding for 1.32 or something like that. And now people are complaining because the event was extended and we might be able to get the 1.5? No matter what PWI does, people are going to complain and say it's all about profit. b:chuckle

    I guess what makes it so bad is that the GM's try to do something good for us, and people turn it around and make up some scheming motive behind what PWI does. Why can't we just see this as a good thing?

    to the people who say pwi is only after $$.

    Well Duh? (pwi = business) the whole point of a business is to make profit and expand to further profits.

    at the same time they try to keep the comunity happy to maintain there profits thats how things work >.>' common sence.Also the 1.5x exp is free no $$ required and the people who buy zen to get the exp scrolls thats there choice think of it this way buying zen is like investing in the company in a sence your helping support the company by donating $$ to help them run it and further enchance it or keep it runing. and you get a prise for every donation (boutique item)
    however thats your choice no one forced you. if you want to be greedy and get more exp then every one else at the cost of real $$ thats on you. just dont complain about it later or rant about it
    the way i see it its fair 150% exp for every one and 20% prise reduction on the exp scrolls for greedy ppl who want to level faster then every one else.Every one wins community gets what they want and pwi makes money off the greedy ppl end. o.o
