How bout we make another alignment like in WOW, just like their Alliance vs Horde thing. We put the new one in another continent. Make new races, or the same things but different looking buildings, physical appearance of characters, different looking weapons and armor. Since the one we have now has an Asian theme, make the other one European. The medieval theme is quite popular by the way. Just like in WOW they are using both the Asian and Medeival theme. Like the Night elves they are using a semi-asian theme. If you haven't noticed, then look at their weapons, and Armor. Some Orcish structures there are also kinda Asian. If you put both together it just blends in, and it would be cool to have a war between the two.
If you think it would not be fair for the new alignment thing or whatever, maybe we could allow some players to switch and go to the new one. Then there could also be those battle things like in "Alterac Valley".

And how exactly would this fit into Perfect World's storyline?

Blantant rip off of WoW is just opening yourselves up for a lawsuit by Blizzard....which is what I'm quite sure the majority of game developers don't want. Suggestions are one thing, but you have to consider the fact that some suggestions might sound too much like a game that's already out there, and that would just be a very messy situation if the developers of PW actually took the suggestion and implemented it. *shrug*

Well, he is not saying we should make the game just LIKE World of warcraft. He is suggesting we expand the game a little more like world of warcraft. The whole questing for xp is kind of lame. You only get like .03 experience per mob and it sucks. 'Quest, quest, quest, quest'. At least boost the experience gain from the monsters. And usually the quest are like 20 minutes away from every thing, it's quite boring.

Also, opening the characters up a little more would be fair play. Like, a skill tree. Take Cleric for instance. Have three tree's, one would be obviously healing. The other would be for Magic damage and the last would be used for more of a buffage/support/healing (Again like world of warcraft but you can be creative and just make up new spells/put the current ones in there accordingly).

As far as that that game is gold, but lacks a few other things like shops. There are like 3 shops of the same in one city that sell the same thing below level 40. At least change it up in the more 'Higher' level towns so it suits the current level.

I understand this game is not suppose to be like 'World of Warcraft', but. Taking a few things and changing it to fit into 'Perfect World' is not that bad. Infact it may draw in more players who want more then just the average 'Quest, same items, Every one looks alike'. Make it more unique.

Thats my two cents. SO LONG AND THANKS FOR ALL THE FISH!

While you are right it's not a bad idea to implement based on other games, the idea of creating a whole new "alliance" is. There is no purpose behind this other than to fit the fantasies of a single player who has gone from a pay-to-play game to a free-to-play game. In case you didn't realize this, Dreadmaul, free-to-play games with cash shops are meant for making money, pay-to-play satisfy customers. Also, look at how it turned out for WoW. By satisfying customers primarily, they would throw class balances off constantly with their updates. Unless your idea will somehow improve Perfect World for the better, such as if there were, for example, a single class that was completely dominating over all other classes, or a build that would always beat any class, then suggest. If it is just an idea that is for the simple idea of expansion, leave it to the experts, or make a more developed idea.

To be honest, your idea could have substance if you had thought it out and presented it in a way which it was very detailed. Revise your idea, and it may possibly have some consideration by the community at large.

I saw few friends playing WoW come and go, but the reasons were not that there is no Horde vs. Alliance thing. It was either:
    * different controls/no way to redefine
    * small minimap and unadjustable size of various other windows (chat width for instance)
    * or simply... one MMORPG kills so much time that playing two is too much for them

I like PWI, I like it's we vs. them (AI controlled beasts), I like it's comic like, yet not manga, I like it how it is, it's cool, it's fun, don't change it, only tune it. Anything closer to WoW (which I don't know (only from talks) and I don't care ;-)) is wrong. There is one WoW. Maybe you miss F2P WoW. But then I'll miss F2P PWI. :-) I don't want WoW.
