    Yes mine fails each time, have tried to update about 10 times already.

    I am getting so tired of trying to log on to this game and not EVER being able to update the new patchs. It's a big pain and it's getting ridiculous. Isn't there an easier, less stressful way? The makers or w/e are going to start lossing clients if this keeps up. FIX IT!

    Aryannaveno thanks for the upload. You are the only way I get to play on Sundays. My auto updater keeps hanging on tasks.data or elements.data also.

    Couldn't agree more, everytime, same issues. It's painful.

    u_u Same issues as the ones complaining.
    Mirror files don't work for me.
    Takes around an hour to download Tasks.data, when Elements.data only took half a minute.
    Nothing works for me except the manual patch.
    Please fix this problem, SOON.

    How do I use these downloads? Which ones do I need? My patch hangs at an task data at 30% of download patch.

    I downloaded one of your links from mediafire the one with tasks in the end. But I can't open this data or use it with perfect world manuel patcher. I don't know how this manuel patcher should work, I never need to use it. Help me please b:sad

    You'd want to go to the C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\data folder, rename the existing file to elements_old.data or tasks_old.data (depending on which file you're trying to replace, and copy the downloaded file into that directory.

    Go to the PW folder in your comp prgramfiles -> Perfect World Entertainment -> Perfect World Internationel -> element -> data

    There replace element.data and tasks.data with the new files from my upload.

    i have the files but when i verify it works fine lol i needn't do anything?? but i still get a problem saying there is a new patch available every time i start the game i click update now and it done but when i load again it still comes is it a update failure?

    do i erase the old files after loading the new ones?

    Only after you've got the client to work. They're not fun to reinstall or verify if you end up with a corrupted download or other problem.

    I also have problems with updating using the game client, so I need to download manually for it to work. Thanks for posting those two files, after putting them in place everything seems to work as it should. Thank you.
