Character Creation Contest: Top 10 Overall winners!

Wow! After an exhaustive review process we are ecstatic to announce the OVERALL winners of our inaugural Character Creation Contest!

Reviewing all of the entries was quite the task due to the sheer amount of submissions (thousands), coordinating feedback and opinions from over a dozen PWE staffers and the fact that MOST of the entries ranged anywhere from decent to spectacular!

If your entries weren't chosen as winners this time around don't take it so hard. As mentioned the amount of great designs numbered in the hundreds and the tastes of our judges encompasses a wide array of tastes so unfortunately many top-notch designs were unable to crack the winners pile.

Below you will find our selections for the TOP 10 OVERALL Character Designs as chosen from a panel of a dozen PWE staffers from our Product, Community, Marketing and Operations departments. The Overall winners were selected from our pool of 30 semi-finalists. You can review our semi-finalists in this thread:

Next week we will also reveal which designs will be utilized as preset Character Creation templates. Unfortunately, due to legal and copyright reasons some of the Celebrity 'look alike' submissions cannot be used in our character creation tools. More to come. Stay tuned next week for further announcements.

note: Each of the 10 winners will be awarded 30 Small Guardian Charms. Winners must send a PM to Dvorak by 5 p.m. (PDT), Monday Nov. 3 using the forum nickname we identity as the winner. In your PM please state the character name and server that you would like your Charms to be sent to. These Charm prizes will be sent to your in-game mail after server maintenance on Nov. 3rd.

    Because we are still awaiting prize confirmation from over half of our winners we will extend the deadline for winners to send me a response to next Monday, Nov. 3.

    Nov. 3 is the absolute deadline. If we don't hear from you by then you will not receive your prize.

    well zenpachi i guess they can make it like best style for ya..because the tiger's and panda's all look a like???? Is it posible to make them look different?

    awww D: I didnt know there was a competition lyk dis >< I got my ones that i fink are reasonably great :D missed the draw but i'd lyk to share it anyway xD my brother helped me do the facial features for around 3 hrs =\ Tis the real me! 100% b:laugh

    Lol stuff like this wins, no wonder the standerd characters suck, they need Judges with good glasses, seen 100 times better ingame, maa no one want their original chars in the standard ****, so only the craps left, although the look alikes were good Armold n Micheal

    I have a feeling that what they actually did, was choose a few interesting ones for the contest, but they're saving the really good ones for their preset character selection. (as per Dvorak below). because if not... then i agree with you.....
    Next week we will also reveal which designs will be utilized as preset Character Creation templates.
