i need some help from really experienced clerics...i've wasted around 15-20 attribute points on dex, so my character is somehow screwed now...does dex have any effect on clerics? and will plume shot miss if i reset my dex to 5 attribute points? my current builds are something like 17 vit, 53 mag, 22 str and 24 dex...

No, spells never miss. Dex increases your critical hit rate though, and is a requirement for heavy and light armour, so unless you are wearing arcane robes, you need some.
My own cleric wears arcane robes, so I don't know if your build is okay for heavy or light armour. For arcane robes, I think that aside from dex, you also have too much str. You only need to add one str every 2 levels for them, I think.0 -
sounds about right... I mostly focus on mag and vit... str and dex. are some of the least of you worries... I really depends on how you wanna play... If you wanna do more on your own then you need more strength but still focus on more mag... It all really depends on your playin habits tho...0

i suggest u read that guide in sums everything up
http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=11781
u can get your stat poitns back if u dont want them in Dex btw
but it will cost u a reasonable amount of ingame gold or real money
e: at level 23 id suggest to just make a new cleric as its way cheaper and doesnt really take long0 -
I'd suggest that you follow most of the stat point allocations and armor recommendations; however, being an attack cleric will make it harder for you to level up level 60+ as many AoE/Zhen parties will probably pass you up for a healing/buffing cleric.0

Clerics have it easiest to lvl up past 60, solo even works out better at many of the level ranges.
We have the ability to solo AoE 15+ poison causing mobs that are higher lvl than us at many points in our lvling. There are two different petali, 1 in the 60 range, the other in the 72 range. Both are easy to lure many together for AoE'ing that gives xp you don't have to share. When a cleric is focused on grinding, NO other class or party can give as much xp to the cleric than they can get on their own. The only time the parties are useful, is if you are in between the mobs to choose from. FAC just needs to have purify scaled up, and a maxed ironheart to survive.0 -
Same like most, I'm using Arcane armor too. So I did not add any to Dex. For a pure Attack Cleric, i think it will be a waste in adding dex, as you may want to concentrate on Mag more. Adding dex will only be able to allow you in weaing light armor (for attack cleric, it will be waste).
But again, if you want, it may be a slight waste of $$, add dex for light armor till about lvl 40.. Whereby most mob will be using magic attack. Get the reset skill, reset your dex and pump into Mag instead, so as to change to 'Arcane armor'. But of course, it will be individual preference...
Also, my suggestion is mainly for Attack Cleric. Not sure about Buff Cleric though..0
