someone explain wind widgets?

how many do you need to upgrade a piece of flying eq. and is it permanant? can someone just explain exactly how this item works? i looked for details everywhere but cant find any info on them

    There used to upgrade the speed of a flying mount that you purchased from the boutique.
    You cannot upgrade the free mount you get. Only cash shop ones.
    Depending of the speed of the one you have:
    to upgrade to :

    1.00 to 1.50 = 20 widgets

    1.50 to 2.00 = 40 widgests

    2.00 to 2.50 = 60 widgets

    2.50 to 3.00 = 80 widgets.

    So, if your cash shop aviation has a basic speed of 2.00 and you want to upgrade to 3.00, you'll need 60 + 80- widgets.
    If the basic speed is 1.00 and you want to upgrade to 3.00, you'll need 20+40+60+80 widgets.

    And if u have the widgets and the mount u go to the City of thousand streams and go to the "Aerogear Forge." To upgrade it! Voila lol (mostly copied pasted)

    1.5 to 2.0 = 60 widgets

    2.0 to 2.50 = 80 widgets

    I have 60 widgets and a rashnu but when I try to upgrade the speed it says I have 0/1 for the Rashnu and 0/60 for the widgets...b:angry

    I got the Skymanta Shade and 80 widgets... and that forge thingie does not recognize them :( Is is bugged? Or do you need a certain level to the Apotecary Skill?

    ok but if i have the lvl 50 sword in the boutique, daevas, how many would it take to upgrade it? :p it has an average speed of 2.5 and a top of 4.5 SORRY i didnt get the explainations.... please pm me? D:

    yes, you have all fallen for my demonic trap! *insert evil laugh here*

    actually, i fell for this to. b:surrender the trick to this, is you click on the icon that is your current aerogear (if you have a 2.5 aero, don't click on the picture of your aero that says 2.0) now, here's the part even the smartest people mess up, you have to drag the gears and aero onto their pictures in the forge screen! it took me hours of forum surfing to figure that out, so don't worry, i don't think anyone has ever figured that out themselves b:laugh.

    So I just upgraded my Skymanta from +1.00 to +2.00

    +1 to +1.5 = 20 widgets
    +1.5 to +2 = 60 widgets
    +2 to +2.5 = 80 widgets
    +2.5 to +3 = 80 widgets so a grand total of 180 widgets u will need

    Now it might differ on the mount u buy in the boutique
