I'm a level 10 venomancer, so what would be some good pets for me to tame and sell?

Well, there aren't really many sought after pets that can be tamed at your level..... you could go try to tame any petite sawflies that happen to wander too close to the ground, people buy those all the time.....there will be a few more opportunities to open up when you are in your 20s, bloodthirsty adalwolves, crystaline magmites, volcanic magmites, pure undynes, snow hares, and that's about all I can think of when it comes to decent sellers...... after that it's pretty much just the uber-rare 12hr spawn pets which are very difficult to get your hands on........I will say this, anything you tame WILL sell if given enough time and you price it right, those I listed above would just sell a little quicker and usually for a better price.

This site is a venos best friend, you can search the spawning locations of pretty much any monster in the game.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, though. With the exception of the sawfly, which is a lvl 8 pet but can be annoying to get before lvl 30, anything that's not a rare pet can be tamed by the time you can use it. I tend to charge 2K for magnites and sawflies (I don't grab anything else), since teleporting from Lost City to the spawn location costs 1200, and teleporting back to Lost City will be another 1200. So 2K seemed reasonable.

And rare pets can't be tamed by average players because you don't know when they'll spawn, and when you do there will be 500000 greedy venomancers camping the spawn point and hitting their "tame" skill the second the pet spawns. Of those 500000 venomancers, 499999 are professional campers with their tame skill maxed out (for the time being, I left mine at 1), their internet connection directly linked to the server and their reaction time minimized by a bot.

The one not included in the count is you. What do you think your chance of success is?

2000 coins? What is that, 5 minutes of hunting? Why bother setting up a shop, which alone takes 5 minutes?! This is ridiculous, all these uber-tank pets and things you have to look up the location and hunt to find, all for a measly 2k (I've seen eggs for 500?!).

If someone wants an easy pet which will last them their entire career, they will pay 20k. Even level 10-15 players can have 100k saved up, what is 1/5 of that in exchange for an awesome pet? I've sold magmites for 15k and 20k to grateful buyers, and you should too.

If they're willing to pay it, it must be worth that much. Simple business. Now stop wasting time and start actually earning something for the time you spend in-game.

The flies near Bamboo Village are well within reach of a bow if you jump onto rocks near the village, they seem made for the job. Be careful when you attempt bring it's health back to below half, your Venomous Scarab might kill it in one.
You'll save people time running there and back, or the round trip to Elf-land, plus time. I think 5K would be a bargain.

Edit: I think if you catch and hatch one you could maybe use it to get others that are otherwise out of reach.

Hey if you can get 20K for a pet that ANYONE can go tame themselves with minimal difficulty then by all means go for it.... but i'm willing to bet you can hear crickets chirping around your shop and get to watch the grass grow while trying to sell those overpriced golems.

And as pets go.... yes magmites ARE good physical tanks, however they're big, dumb, slow as all hell, lose aggro very easily, and have teeny tiny little magic resistances...... good tanks, but not really the best all around pets.... that title goes to the wolves, most well rounded stats of any pet in the game, small enough that it wont block your view, FAST, better mag resist than a golem, dont seem to have as much a problem holding aggro, not the best physical tanks but they're no slouches either, lower but faster attack.... BLEED skill and Howl to reduce magic resists!!.

Yea, i pref wolves, whether its Sharptail or Darkbreed etc
I like their attack speed, the dmg they cause, and the way they hold aggro *altho sometimes i happen to acc steal the aggro from them, but they managed to get back the aggro in the end*

If i hav got my pet slots max'ed out to 5, i will hav 3 for land, one for water and one for air.
Right now i hav only 2 slots, and i decided to leave both slots for land pets since i spend most of my time on land much more than that i spend in water. Water monsters i can handle alone, but i tamed a water pet to stand by just in case ^__^

Don't get me wrong, I now keep a golem with me in my pet bag along with my other pets(started him a bit late, but I'm glad I did)..... i currently have 4 slots, so feel like i have a little freedom to work with, I've found there IS a pretty good reason that everyone keeps a Golem, and that everyone was right on the money when we're talking about a tanker...... but unless I'm fighting very strong physical mobs I do try to avoid using him, I'll go for my wolf or foxwing almost every time over the golem...... Golem = Good to have, but not the end all/be all of pets.
