Getting your first Pet?

Ok I've been reading and on the wiki PW page there was a way to get a pet at lvl 3. That didn't work. So i'm trying to find out how to get a pet as a Cleric at lvl 6.

    Clerics cannot have battle pets, Venomancers are the only class that can. If you want a non-battle pet, you can purchase one made by a Veno, but it'll cost tons.

    All other classes besides Venomancers have to buy all-class pets, either from another class that cannot use pets or from the Venomancers themselves. Be aware, though, as they sell for a very high price depending on what you buy.

    I just want a low level pet, i don't mind if it cant attack.
    Also if i'm a Venomancers can't i just get a pet and transfer the egg over to the cleric?

    how u choose ur class and race?

    u choose your class n race when you create the character.

    You cannot do this. Only Venomancers can use tamed pets. They can also convert eggs from normal battle pets to all-class pets but you would have to buy them. You can not physically tame a pet.

    Ok STOP. Lets be clear cause there seems to a lot of confusion.

    Venomancer's are the ONLY class that can use battle pets.

    Because of the game's mechanics, when a Venomancer captures a new pet, it is first an egg in the Venomancer's inventory. DO NOT BE FOOLED, only VENOs can use this. DO NOT BUY THEM IF YOU ARE NOT A VENO.

    Any class can use "All-class pets".

    NOT EVERY pet is an "All-class pet"

    MAKE SURE THE PET THE PERSON IS TRYING TO SELL YOU IS AN "ALL-CLASS PET". (either by checking the internet or by veryfying through other means (i think some other threads may have more info))

    "All class-pets" are RARE and EXPENSIVE. One way to get them is getting a Venomancer to MAKE one for you but this is very difficult.

    If someone is trying to sell you an all-class pet, BE CAREFUL, these may be scammers with regular pet eggs that you cannot even use.

    PLEASE MESSAGE ME OR A GM IF YOU HAVE MORE QUESTIONS. LETS STOP THE SCAMMING ONCE AND FOR ALL!

    I'm a WF and I have no idea how I'm even supposed to learn how to tame my pets! I seem to have forgotten since I played the Malaysian version and I recall having trouble figuring it out on there, too. I'm level 9 and still don't have a darn pet!

    You should go talk to the pet trainer NPC and Pet manager NPCs to see if they have any quests. You might even want to check the Elder, Venomancer trainer etc. just to make sure you didn't miss anything. Make sure you have gotten all the quests with the quest finder also (located on your quest screen at the top left). You should have a quest where you have to kill either wolflings or scorpions to get a piece of paper that you must eventually bring to the Pet trainer. Check your quest inventory to see if you already have it.
