Can't see people more than 5 meters away

Ever since yesterday, I have no been able to see anyone more than 5 meters away. I can see npcs, attacks, pets, basically anything OTHER than people. I have been using the best performance button in Arch, and I've turned it off so that isn't a factor. I just want to know how to get it back to seeing other people

    i sometimes get that. like kitty clocks wont load. or only the kitty clocks guild name or only there name and not kitty clock name.. its wierd

    Please click the System button (bottom right of the client, looks like two red-brown sticks in an X shape), then click the System Settings button (looks like a green, old-style computer monitor). Make sure the Distance settings on the first two tabs are set to a reasonably far level.

    I kind of got the same problem. I can't see any people at all, not even the people in my party/squad. I can see their names and if I click them sometimes they appear for a couple of seconds, but that's all (it's very annoying because it has happened that I've KSed people accidentally because I can't see them >_<).

    It all started when I tried the "Best performance on/off", I've turned it on and off but it doesn't help. I've got MAX on the distance setting btw. What do I do?

    guys, go to ur UI button in the system options tab, tick the player name and chat bubble button. found it out just now by chance. i guess best performance turns that options off

    Lol, thanks. I changed the Distances setting under UI and now it works ^^
