Idea:Idle kick

Hello. I don't know if they have it but by the looks of how crowded it is around the guide npc I would say they don't. Idle kicking, Why should we put up with characters just sitting around taking up server space, time and usually annoyingly placed. Especially around newcomers. Everyone has been a newcomer to that mmo game and know the wanting to go and get a quick bite and getting distracted or having to run off someplace. I've done it, in fact I think everyone has. Normally it's not a problem with most games since they have an idle kick where if your idle for a certain amount of time you are kicked from the server and whenever you feel like playing again you just got to log back in. Now I don't know maybe they have a good reason for not having it. But frankly its a bit confusing trying to the guide when he's in the middle of around 100 other players. It wouldn't be a big deal if you just came got what you needed and left but they just seem to bunch there and never move.

Idle kick would be nice but what about those people that leave their characters as stores overnight to sell off loot? you'd have to leave ur guy like that maybe to not get kicked?
Just a thoughtb:cold*

True. But maybe some type of auction system should be set off. I know that each game tries to have their own idea and not copy others but some things can't be helped to a point. When you have a player being a store overnight your using precious space that another user can use. Your also slowing down the servers.0

There is already an auction system. Its just that it cost money to sell stuff and not many players use it.0 -
There is an "Auctioneer" in every big city. So I don't understand why people have shops at all over night.0

Don't see why the auction house costs money to sell in the first place. Have played several games where the auction house is boomin but not in this game and I'd have to say its because you have to pay to sell. Its easier and cheaper to just set up a store.
Change the auction house and id stop selling through my own store.0 -
Agreed. It's just not good for the game economy to have to pay to sell. It's really just hurting themselves in the end.0

Hardly anyone looks at that especially when you just want to quickly get some herbs or materials and you can just simply go to a small village to get some. I
Instead of the lame auction, they should have shops very similar to the auctioneer where you can search what you want to buy and there aren't a million cats sitting around blinding people with their names. There can be an NPC at every town similar to the banker where you can search what other players are selling so you get exactly what you need and you know the best prices. You also don't have a million people spamming the chat to advertise. All the buying and selling done in one place.
Edit: Although that might suck, as it could be just as crowed as other things. They could make it something larger that is clickable instead of a person.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

i don't even understand why there's no function in-town to buy herbs and other mats. There looks like a NPC for that function (material dealer i think.) but he does nothing. The auction house's fatal flaw that limits its effectiveness is the fact that the game engeneers made it flawed on purpose so people would be forced to buy stuff from the cash shop.
Back on topic, the idle kick system would simply hurt some players too much because of their dependance on AFK-shops. There really is no other way to specifically target idle players.
Actually what they can do is boot people who havn't been active for a set amount of time (eg. 10 hours) this could also include AFK-shops.
I don't know... just tossing out an idea...b:cold*

Well I doubt we'd see much Idle Kick yet, since the already version 16 or so version of the game doesn't have it yet, we have yet to see one on MY servers, I doubt were gona see one very soon on IN servers.0
