Hi. I just downloaded PWI and started playing. The one problem is that everytime I open the client and play, I keep getting black screens every 3 seconds. I tried reinstalling it, but that didn't work. This is what I have:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
Memory: 2038MB RAM
Page File: 1373MB used, 2944MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 10
DxDiag Version: 6.00.6001.18000 32bit Unicode
Operating System: Windows Vista

This sounds like it may be a serious problem with your graphics card. Do you have similar experiences in other games with high-quality graphics?

Also, it seems like your card has no Dedicated memory for your graphics.

Usually the dxdiags we get have higher Display & Shared memory then the Dedicated memory, but problems arise when there isn't ANY memory dedicated to your graphics.

(Correct me if I'm wrong Gattsuru)

After you update your drivers, you will might also need to go into the graphic settings and have some dedicated memory set aside for your graphics.

Maybe if you can set it up where your Display and Shared memory are 512, and your Dedicated is 64, 128, or 256MB.

IMHO, you always want to try and have any memory setup in multiples of 8. Like 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, etc.

Can you also paste your section of your dxdiag for your disc/disk drives?
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

I just downloaded PWI yesterday and after every three or four seconds it will stop and the screen will go black for a few seconds. Then after it has done this about five times it will just stay black. Please help!

Well, the drivers I've linked to are from 10/11/2008, while the ones your DxDiag provide are from 1/1/2008, so you may want to try them.

Ok thanks! I think I installed the driver wrong the first time. It works now.
