I have a question about 'Marriage'

I know how you get married and all. So no need to go there and answer that question for me.

But my question is, in all my digging and exploring, I was under the impression, the only way to get a 'divorce', as it seems, was for one person to delete their character. Well, recently one of my guildies told me that Blazz, is no longer married to Blazeofglory. A few of us spent a while wondering how this happened, and came to the only possible conclusion, Blaze mus've deleted her character. Well, that sure seemed sad.

HOWEVER, a few days later, a wonderful message was announced via System, that Blazeofglory was married to some guy who's name I cannot remember.

So, my question is, how did this happen? Did GM's treat them special and allow a 'divorce'? Is there some OTHER way to get 'divorced' in game?

I do plan to have an in-game marriage, but no real plan of divorce. I am curious however, how this happened. If a GM or someone who's played other PW versions could please shed some light on this.

You can give two million coins to the same NPC that married you to get divorced.

I guess they do that to make it serious, thats why you dont see a buck load of people getting married everyday...lol

in rl: makes hard to divorce cause ya maybe got some kids and stay together for their sake
in game: its 2m and you might as well not get married and stay friends with benefits in game..lol

Compared to a real life divorce, the 2M seems rather cheap. Realistically, you'd lose half of your coins and every other item in your bank! b:laugh
