cleric weapon 2 choose ?

hey all,

im new and ive decided 2 go cleric. i think ill go healer cleric until at least later on in-game. what do u think is the best weaon choice 4 me ?

i was thinking staff but i figured swords would be useful 2.

also wot r the advantages of quoits ?

    There is no best weapon. Change weapon everytime your level hit a new weapon's level requirement for the M.ATK or get 3 star/Legendary weapons which will last you for 5-10 levels without upgrading.

    That, or you could just pick your favorite and use it.
    Then again i'm not one of the people who live for this game, or even spend more then a hour a day on it.

    I agree,I always find using the weapon type your prefer to be best instead of switching all the time.Less of a hassle and less money spent in my opinion.

    To try to better answer the question...

    Some people say that wands are best because they have the most consistent damage. However, I don't mind a large spread because I am willing to take the risk of a low dmg hit or low eff heal because you get the other end of the spread too! I am currently using the lvl 43 legendary wheel of fate. I got lucky though. I would say use the magic weapon you can afford and has the most bonuses (extra perks are more important than stars usually!)

    Use whatever you like. I use the swords since they have a good min damage, but have a nice spike as well.

    As for being a "healer", you're gonna need to be combat as well to survive.

    to the OP, some people like wands because of their more consistent power (they can be sure their attacks will do the same damage always), others like swords for the look and because they also do a consistent damage over time.

    Pestles and patakas do higher damage than wands and swords, but also they have the lowest power listed, makin' them more random when dealing damage.

    As a personal opinion, I like patakas cause I always like to do the most devastating damage, even if sometimes I won't do it.

    However, I don't like how male clerics move with patakas... they run with the staff up front like they wanna poke someone in the eye with it b:shockedb:laugh

    hehe i like sword as they get u to the endest game weap also Glavie seem to be a popular choice too.. look up those two weap. and pick the one u like. both have pros and cons.

    Yea get GX axes. Who needs heals when you can one hit everything around you with zerk crits b:chuckle

    But seriously though, wands are nice but ****. Both in looks and price/functionality since the line ends with tt80 gold and you gotta start over for tt90. Although you can sign me up for the gold lunar wand b:dirty
    Patakas are just lol. Equip one, run around for 10 seconds and see what I mean.
    Glaives are kinda meh. Good for spike damage on wizzies though.
    Which leaves you with swords as the obvious choice, plus they have the cool factor.b:victory

    The type of weapon doesnt matter, get the one that does the mos Magic Damage.
    Max Plume Shot and Cyclone, Only healing skill you should level up is Ironheart Blessing for the first 50 levels. That is the best healing skill u have, until u get stream of rejuv at 49.
