Quest Problem

I have just recently started playing and completed firecrag grotto.

I killed the required mobs and the boss for my exp, and 'glowie' weapon etc.
But I am having a large issue, after killing them I somehow got the boss quest again and no rewards from the completion of the boss and mobs.
(yes I did talk to the elder afterwards)
And it won't let me get the quest for those mobs again and I was wondering if I have overlooked something and if it is some sort of bug can it be fixed. Or do I have to just forget about firecrag altogether?

    If u got the quest again, maybe someone activated their tablet.

    That makes sense, I just really don't want to find out that I can't get my rewards from doing those quests because of something as out of my control as that. lol

    EDIT: maybe gms can fix this? I am not as bothered about the boss as I am the quest for the mobs which I can't redo
