Beginners Question: Playing Races

i've played WoW for a very long time, and i stopped to play, within one day to the other day.

so now i am looking for another great game of this kind of games.

so i watched the whole Movies about PW and i have just one Question:
Can the different races play together in one Party ?

So i can't believe, an Warrior can play without an Priest.

But they are different Races.
I'm not sure, the word "Race" is same Thing like in RYL. There is a War between the Races.
Or like WoW, The Horde and the Alliance. These are "Races".

And here in PW an Off-Warrior and a Mage isa kind of "Race", a Deff-Warrior and another Clas is called as an "Race" and the Flight-Elves are even called a "Race".

Till now it was normal for me, its War between the different Races.
But in PW so i'm thinking, those Races should play together for a melee Party.


I prefer to play a Priest (like in WoW) so it would logical, to have an Warrior in myFriendlist to play with him.

i wont like PvP at all.


btw: im sorry, for my bad english, its much time ago, i had to use it on internet.
Last time was on RYL / RYL2 ;)

    the races start out differently and have different quests for the first 20 levels.

    they can party together any time and there is no feud among the races.

    and how about leveling ? how fast u can goto lvl 20 ?
    what is the highest level to reach ?

    If you know what you are doing you can get to level 20 in a day. For a new player it could take a few days or even a week if you do not play all that much. Highest level is somewhere between 105 and 150 (you get a lot of different answers to that question).

    so it depends on how i know that game.

    i am not new to MMORPGs so i think its abit easyer than like an absolute beginner.
    But even i have to learn about the quests and where i can get them.
    and IF i play a MMORPG, then i play it in every free minute :)
    I want to make my char perfect :)

    Getting to 20 is definitely a breeze so if you are just worrying about how you will play with your friends if they are different races then you have nothing to worry about. :)

    Last Question : Which server should i prefere to play ?
    independet on my Status as Newbie in this game.

    Server shouldn't b too much frequented but even not too less.

    Lost City - PvP server - go here if you like PK. Everyone above level 30 can be PK'ed without consent.

    Heaven's Tear - PvE - go here if you like PvP optional. Even after level 30 you can turn PvP off so nobody can PK you.

    Sanctuary PvE - the newer PvE server. It's exactly the same as Heaven's Tear except it's 3 weeks behind. Newcomers usually join this.

    i Prefer to play on Sanctuary bcoz i hate PvP.
    Never liked in WoW, nor RYL.

    Thank u guyz for the first help.
    Now i d/led the game (took approx. 1 hour)
    now ill Try :-)
