it was stuck on tasks.data for a wile..... now its stuck on elements.data ?? wth it went backwards??

    I'm having the same problem Paige...got stuck on tasks.data, now its back to the elements one. >_<

    Well, it's back to tasks.data now. The yellow bar has filled up for that file twice now and then keeps getting stuck again...o.o

    Keep exiting the client and relaunching it saying 'resume download'.
    If this does not work try deleting elements and tasks.data from your pw folder and relaunch patcher.

    I've downloaded that chinese stuff which hasn't helped, and I have also manually downloaded the elements and task files from someone but I can't find the folders in PW to put them in...arghhhh...

    D:\perfect_world\element\data Is where the two files need to be placed, obviously the start location might be different but am sure you can find it now :)

    i'm now stuck on iconlist_guild.dds, this **** update stops on every file and then you have to restart over and over until it goes to next file and then again...this is just stupid

    Yep...i just figured out how to put the element and task files in now stuck on this one. Anyone posted the rest of them yet?

    ...... now its back to sme palce it was lastnight..

    hmmmmm are the gams ever gona really update the game its self?
    or just keep it the way it is, and jsut keep ading cash shop items every week

    This patch is larger then previous ones, and takes some time to compile in the background.

    If you are Auto Updating the patch, try exiting the game if it doesn't look like it is making progress patching after 10-15 minutes.

    Exit the game, restart the game and resume the patching process. If it hangs again, try again another few times after 10-15 minutes with each try.

    We are aware of the patching issues some of you are having and are working to figure out the issues with the last few patches.

    There are no manual patches at this time for the current version.

    first i was stuck on elements, then on tasks, now i m stuck on iconlist.... (and i was so close to end :()

    darthpanda16 can you update the whole DATA (from Perfect World International\element\data)???

    maybe it will work :D

    We're (Admins/Mods) not allowed (legal reasons) to post and/or host any game files anywhere to help you all with patching at certain points.

    So... ahem... *nudge, nudge*
