Teleporting to different cities/towns.

I currently have a level 10 Cleric. I've been wanting to explore further outside of City of Plume s it's getting quite boring seeing the same enviroment blah blah. One of my friends has joined and is in another part of the map & wanted me to join him with training, I clicked on the teleport master where I am, but when looking at the teleportation map, I can't do anything, click anything etc. Which I don't get as he was able to teleport to the city I am all the way from the other side of the map up North, but I wasn't able to teleport at all.

Is there some sort of quest to be able to teleport to far away places?
Or is it something to do with the race/class I am? I'm pretty confused.

    You can teleport to other places once you have spoken with the Teleport Master there. At around level 12, you also get a quest which automatically links up the two main cities: Etherblade and Lost City so perhaps that is another solution :).

    ^_^ Oh I see now, no wonder I can't teleport just yet lol... thank you!
