Armor

Sorry for the newbie questions I'm about to ask.

1) Does armor break over time? If so, how fast does it break?
2) Is it better to buy armor from players or NPC's?
3) Is there a break-off level for NPC armors? Like after a certain level, you can only find armor made by players beacuse NPC's don't carry those high level armors.

Thank you for your time :3

Armor will break unless you repair it. When you first start off, quest armor is good. I never had to buy armor before. I either found it or made it. Also, npc in lower towns sell lower armor and higher level towns theres higher level armor. i haven't reached a break off point yet

Though common MMO knowledge says players should charge less then NPCs in order to encourage buying from them over the NPC.

equipment made by players is better than the stuff you get from npcs cause it can be up to 3 stars and have bonuses and stuff

Which is not particularly useful during the first 40 levels or so since you'll be upgrading armor at a really fast rate.

    3 stars?
if player armor ends up better than NPC armor, shouldnt it be costlier? or am I missing something? o.o

but u dont have to buy from others players, u can get mats and make yourself, that way it will be cheaper than buy from NPC and armor will be better than the ones NPC sells

If you add up all the materials and time it takes to level up the skills it probably is more expensive to make armour then it is to buy from the NPC's.
