the pet slot hay question

I'm sure this has been discussed n such

but I'm really having troubles with this....

where or what is the best to get hay from?

if this seems like a "nooby" question i don't care I'm seriously needing an answer

cause my Veno needs a new pet slot and I'm not buying a cage but its been difficult to get hay

    Various mobs drop it such as...: Turtles lvl 8+, Armadillos, Rhinodrakes near Archosaur, and Antellopes.

    Try Rhinodrake Megaliths Near in the west outskirts of archosaur. They drop them every now and then, heck, I stayed there for like 20 mins and got like 4 hayb:laugh

    A few levels from now you will get to the antelopes - who also drop items for another quest - and with all the quests and hunting in their area you will hardly even notice getting the hay together.

    Wow guys. Just wow. haha. Ok easiest way to get hay. Go to plume city (regardless of class, race) and go across the river towards their FB19. When you hit it go left and you will hit longhorned carapests. Take out maybe 30-50 of them and you shoudl have 20 hay and lots of exp. The main thing they drop is hay.

    The lvl 30 antelope pups have a pretty good chance of dropping hay, you can find them south / southeast of Silverpool; 22.77% chance of dropping it :P

    Nah you can buy from catshops maybe, but it is horribly overpriced. Kill the Rhino Megaliths west of Archasaur or Antelope pups all around Silver Pool for hay.

    I suggest just going south west of Silver pool and grinding the Lv30 Antelope Pups there for a while. If you do it non-stop you should have al 20 within and hour and a half or so. I know this because I had to do it for my friend so he could use his mount :P Happy Grinding.

    any suggestions at level 78 to where to grind hay??? (some stupid q needs 50 hay,... :S (and where to grind 50fruits and fungus so i can get 4 or 5 pets))

    Rhinos have a 14% chance of dropping hay.

    Antelopes %age is a bit higher...somewhere in the high 20's if I remember correctly.

    Really? 'Cuz I've fought about 25 and I only got one. Hm. Hopefully they drop more in the future. =/
