I just got the copper...

Do I only get one of each kind, so when I choose an option from the Herald then "that's it"? Or is this quest repeatable somehow?

Alright, now this is a long and arduous (tough) chain of several different quests.

You start it at level 20, which is pretty cool, and it just leads you all over the world, so yeah, there is a lot of walking or flying, depending on your class and level. The items can be a pain to collect, but I gotta tell ya, killing for them is a lot better than just buying them.

Now the quest gets into it's next stage at level 31, but don't worry, you can still get on with your love-able level 20 Dragon Quest. But now, with this new quest, you get more experience and spirit, which is always a plus.

But for the rewards part, I'm not sure on that, myself. I have not yet been able to get enough Tokens to purchase anything, but it all seems really worth the effort, so I say go for it. It's an engaging and fun experience.

Well, it's neither engaging nor fun --- the items itself all came from my bank, although that's probably because I started very late --- I had this quest to see the Dragon Director, and no idea where to find him... and then I learned he was at my starting town, but of course I had no business there so it got pushed to page 8.

I still don't understand what you mean by "I get a new quest at lvl 31", "but you can still continue with your level 20". As far as I can tell I've completed one (hence I got the copper order, and was wondering whether I could get more of these), got quests to see the Apothecary in Wellspring and the Tailor in Archosaurus (talked to the Wellspring guy who didn't give me another quest, so I guess the Tailor will give me the next part). So as far as I can tell there's just one of these dragon things going on right now...

Here is the thing. Every 10 lvls or so, there is a new dragon quest. For example, dragon quest 21, 31, 41, 52, 61... etc. And once you finish each of those quests, you get the option to repeat it AGAIN. So theorically, you can run dragon quest 21 a few hundred times (pending you have all the required items). The same thing applies to all other dragon quests. You basically do them to gather dragon orders to trade in for stuff.

These quests are best done along side of your other quests, that way if you quest takes you near where you need to be for your DQ you can hit them both at the same time.

I've done 10 quests to get the 10 bronze orders, and I traded that for a mold for a belt. When you turn in a quest, hit continue, and you automatically get another quest. If you hit confirm, it ends the quest, but you always have the option of picking that quest up again.

Now I'm working on the silver orders. Doing the level 41 quests, I'm getting about 36k exp per quest. I think the level21 quests were 15k.

You can trade Dragon Orders in for molds, Dragon Raffles, and special horse mounts. Silvers aren't rewarded until the 50+ Dragon Quests, and Golds until even later. The Dragon Quest mounts are horses.

I'm sorry, but this made me giggle like a little girl.

Gattsuru, I would have to say, you sure know how to get your point across. You reiterated that the Dragon Quest mounts were horses. Take a look at what I have made bold.

The DRD Department would like to apologize for the repeated occurence of the Department of Redundancy Department and horses.

James41 - Some quests require more than one set of items a few times. They're not scamming you, the items that the new character asks for is just more of a same item. Best way to go abourt is just stockpile on the DQ items, and pull out what you need each time.
