Why's my game broken all of a sudden...

I've been playing for a few days now. Played last night, no problems. Turned off my computer, went to bed, woke up and did some stuff today and now I try to run the game:

The patch updater runs fine, checks client version: Game Version 18

-> Try to click start: Application Error: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc00000005). Terminate.

I tried to use the Verify function, it did nothing. Why would the game just break out of nowhere like that.

    I had that problem once, what i had to do was uninstall/reinstall the game and it worked fine. It was cause my comp froze halfway through an update, and when i tried re-running the game i had the same problem as you.
