Can you do a tracert to pwigc3.perfectworld.com?

In Windows XP, go to Start->Run..., enter "cmd" in the white box and press enter, then type "tracert pwigc3.perfectworld.com" (without the quotes). To copy the result, right click in the black space of the command prompt, click Select All, and then press Enter on your keyboard. Come back here, open a Reply, and press CTRL and V simultaneously.

In Windows Vista, it's mostly the same, but instead type cmd into the Start Search box to start.

Okay... that's not particularly good, although at least you're getting DNS resolution through. Can you download nmap and use the command "nmap -p29000 -PN pwigc3.perfectworld.com" within its zenmap GUI?

nmap -p29000 -PN pwigc3.perfectworld.com . 2,900 should be filtered, 29,000 is what we do the client stuff on.

So you are resolving it at a decent rate. The block on ICMP-8s are rather ugly, though. Can you contact your ISP and make sure they're not leaving TCP-29000s at the bottom of the queue?
