Lowbie drops

I figured this was the relivent spot to ask.
Will the lowbie mobs still drop their mats even if you way outlevel them? Like can you still try to farm grease or thread off of level 5 mobs when your level 15?

    All bug types drop grease, so at lvl 15 there will be bug creatures of that level that will drop grease, or in higher lvl's the higher form of grease, Purified oil.

    Ah, thank you. Saves me the heartache of trying to hunt low low mobs and potentially ruin the game for new folks . Thank you again :)

    Kuhus seemed to be a good source of them, at least for me. Enemies will stop dropping them after level ~20, and attacking low-level enemies will eventually result in a lower drop rate than if you had farmed them when your level matched, though, so do try to get the components you need earlier rather than later.
