FB39 Guide

Good day to everyone! I would like to start up a FB39 guide since lots of people gets trouble in it, here are some simple tips for fb39. First and foremost, tab holder must have the 3 tabs and be sure that you have enough space in your inventory.

Classes that needs to be in fb39 squad:
lvl44+ barb w/ 3k+ hp = The barb will serve as a TANK, he / she will take all the hits and must take agro always.

1/2 lvl40+ cleric w/ iron heart blessing [and Party heal if possible] = Clerics will serve as the life saver of the squad, Its a must for them to retain the TANK's hp in full and if a barb/bm[tank] is about to tank a mob / boss,start putting/stacking up iron heart blessing.

Veno lvl40+ w/ lvl40+ pet = Veno's will serve as lurer's, they must lure mobs 1 by 1 and be sure that your pet wont die when luring or else the mob's around the mob that youtried luring will come and take your squad down.

lvl45+ wiz w/ 1.1k+ hp = The wizards will serve as DD and they can also TANK the last boss because of their uber mdef [Last boss is a magical attacker] .

And of course the tab holder, Tab holder will support the team [unless your a barb/tank], just dont die.

A lvl52+ BM w/ 2.2k+ hp could also serve as a TANK or a Sub tank, use your stronges skills so the mob/boss will focus on you/bm.


MOBS:
In the dungeun, their are mobs that explodes[Reverex and the chicken], in this case, the tank must take agro of it and keep the mob away from the other squad members. If 2 exploding mobs come, tell one of your squad member to try luring/taking agro of it out of the squad's area, hit it and run[like playing tag],wait till one of the mob dies and bring it back to the tank/barb.

Their are also mobs that uses AoE [The ghost lady on the last boss], and for this scenario, Tankers must not get too near to other squad members. If 2 AoE mobs come, Cleric should use its Party heal, and one of the squad member will hit it and run[like playing tag again], and wait till one of the AoE mob dies and bring it back to the tank/barb.

Their are some runner mobs inside the dungeun, veno's must lure this mobs 1st. Clear up all the runners before you start proceeding to the next place/room. Most of the fb39 squad dies because of leaving the runner mobs behind. Have patience, wait till the runner mob comes closer and thats the time to lure and kill it.

And last on the line, the mobs around the boss [its minions], veno's must lure boss's minions 1 by 1, if your pet die, tell it to the squad asap, cause all of the boss's minions including the boss will come, if this happen, dont get panic, tank/barbs will take agro of the boss and run, dont run towards your squad members, instead run opposite to your squad members, other members must take care of the boss's minions, If their are 3/4 minions came, Veno must take one and let your pet tank it[revive your pet asap], sub tank/bm [if you dont have a sub tank then the DD] must take 1/2 of it, stun all of it or let it chase you, wait till the veno kill one of the minions and bring it back to him/her, Clerics will support the sub tanks and veno's, once all of the boss's minions die, call the tank/barb to go back and start killing the boss.


Some info's about the 3 boss:
1st boss looks the same w/ its minions so be careful and it uses AoE [25m range], other squad members must try moving away from its 25m range and use your farthest skills.

2nd boss also looks like the same w/ its minions and it is not an exploding boss.

3rd boss is a magical attacker, let the wiz/veno tank it and clerics must focus heal on the wiz.


Lastly, if their are mold drops and 3* star item drops. Dont be selfish, share up the items or if someone needs that item and you have it, sell it to him/her in a lower price. You all help each other to finnish your fb39 quest, so everyone on the squad deserves a credit.

    Small correction.

    The second boss DOES NOT explode. He looks like the exploding chickens, but for some reason he's the only one that doesn't explode when he dies.

    Wizards aren't the only one that can tank the last boss. I've done it myself on my venomancer.

    Also my pet has been tanking lots of other bosses, and fb bosses quite often now. I can't count the number of times my golem was the tank instead of a barbarian.

    Also my pet has been tanking lots of other bosses, and fb bosses quite often now. I can't count the number of times my golem was the tank instead of a barbarian.

    pretty sure this guide is meant for level 39, 40 and not for high level venos.

    A robe Veno will have just as much if not more Metal Resistance as a Wizard. Hell, even a Cleric can tank the last boss if the squad is desparate enough.

    Nice guide, but lvl 52BM, that a typo? I also like to point out that the levels Moshine as pointed out is just recommended levels. This dungon can be trioed at lvl 35 (barb, clr, veno) highly don't recommend it since it takes 5x longer to do and it requires lots and lots of potions as well as drop rate is not increased :(.

    Minions/boss isn't going to gang you if the venomancer's pet dies. Just know that you have to lure each of the minions first, because if you try to lure the boss first, the minions will follow it. Also, I'm fairly sure the ghost ladies don't aoe =|

    Not a bad guide otherwise, at least people can know what to expect.

    You should make a mention of what quests are needed though, along with the shortcut through the door. This is a guide I wrote for the malaysian version, but if you get past the name changes it should work out, just scroll to the bottom.

    If a cleric would tank the last boss, whose gonna support the squad ?[Unless you got two clerics] No, so its better that a wizard nor veno will tank it.

    For Dolkin: Its not a typo, Just need that kind of lvl [for bm] if you are w/ lvl42- squad members. Those lvl's that I said are for those who wants their FB39 to be done "for sure" and "safe". If you want to try your FB39 w/ lvl39-, then give it a shot, besides its much challenging. Patience is a Virtue. b:chuckle

    For Senovit: I'll check it out 1st before I edited the post to make sure if the ghost lady does AoE and the 2nd boss does explode.

    If the Cleric is tanking, the other party members won't get hit. Thus they won't need to be healed. All they have to worry about is pulling aggro and in that case it's easy for the Cleric to switch healing targets since Toric's spells take a while to cast. I'm not saying this is recommended, but if people have to leave and the only caster you're left with is a Cleric, then it's still possible to kill the last boss.

    The Infernal Ladies do have an AoE, but it's not an attack. They use that red mist that leechs life from everyone around them and gives it to them.

    Also, put a warning to newbies that the first two bosses look EXACTLY like the mobs around them. If the Veno is unexperienced, she may end up pulling the boss instead of the adds. Had that happen on my last run when another Veno pulled Farren before we were ready. Not a happy ending there.

    If you're the tabber, the general guideline is that tabber gets the mold and 3 stars. Not all groups follow that, and it's a good idea to decide on that beforehand. But the guideline is so commonly practiced that most people assume this rule.

    Thats untrue,even if the venos pet dies among 5 mobs only the one that was hit comes for the veno,unless the pet has reflect.

    Correction for the guide:

    All bosses in FB39 are mage bosses: they all can be tanked by a robe class.

    Been tanking all those bosses since i was 39.... until i could keep my gollem alive ;)

    Actually the first boss is easier if tanked by a robe class cause the cleric can keep out of AoE range (Ironhart @lvl41=24.7m, just in AoE range, @lvl46 you can up it to 25.6m and even then the cleric has to stand in line with the boss with the tanker in between), just be sure the only one attacking is the robe (or others with enough range, watch agro though).

    CriticalMary - 6x archer
    Maradishu - 5x cleric (only if needed)
    Makito - barb 4x (in rest)

    I don't know if that is true in squad mode, but it is not true in solo mode. If my pet dies, all the mobs that had aggro on it will aggro me instead, not only the one being hit. (I had few incidents until I've learned to heal my pet before sending it to lure. b:chuckle) My pet is magmite, no reflect.
