I'm in a PVE Server and I wanna know, what happens when you go into PK mode there?

    You can get PKed. PVE servers you can choose if you want to PK or not

    so if you turn it on can you PK other people, or only people who also have it turned on?

    If PK mode in pve server means u can get PKd, what does it mean in PVP server? On there u can get pkd anyway, so what difference does PK mode make?

    On a PvP server, you're automatically flagged as PK-mode enabled at level 30, and a valid target outside of Safe Zones. On a PvE server, you have to manually select PK-mode.

    I don't think that quite answers my question though. I wanna know if when you when you have PK mode enabled, you can attack any player over lvl 30, or can you only PK other people who have PK mode enabled as well?

    If I understand things correctly, you can only target players who have a white, pink, or red name, which would be PK-enabled. Blue names -- PK-disabled -- remain invalid targets.

    A blue name player is a player that cannot be PK'd nor can they PK. The player is either below level 30 on a PvP server, or they have PK mode off on a PvE server. Having PK mode off means you cannot be PK'd or attack other players. If you choose to go into PK mode (white name), blue name players are still off limits; you may only attack/be attacked by other players that are in PK mode. That cover it?

    As for PvP servers, the checkboxes are for protection. For example, you're going AoEing with a guild member and you don't want your AoE to damage them, if you check the faction member box you will have to press ctrl+the skill to attack guild members.

    This might be a silly question, but can you turn of Pk mode on a PvP server?

    No you can't you became white(or free target)as soon as you reach lvl 30.

    Also you can be PKed with blue name, but just in some instances, as a cube(some rooms), and Pk events, like dragon place, etc.

    When you're in PK mode you can attack anyone, as long as he/she is not in safe zone. Every kill on a white named gives you 2 extra hours, which makes you unable to go into blue name again. If you havent killed anyone, you can go blue as long as you have 10 hours spent online ingame.
    PK as blue named: You get kills in TW/rebirth/special pwi events, tournament, cube (11+)b:chuckle

    Server Setups by Type:
    PvE:
    Heaven's Tear -West USA
    Archosaur -West USA
    Sanctuary -West USA
    Raging Tide -East USA
    Dreamweaver -East USA
    Lothranis -Europe (French)
    Momaganon -Europe (German)

    PvP:
    Lost City- West USA
    Harshlands- East USA

    Character name color status:
    Blue name: No PK allowed on this character, safe mode. Major exception is current Secret Passage area setup and a few other areas that I don't know much about.
    White Name: PK is turned ON. Set your protections which are located near your PK on/off and you can PK anyone else white or red named. When killed in PK, should not drop items or gear from inventory.
    Red Name: Player has killed a white name. Starts with a pale pink/peach color and with more kills turns a deeper red. A player with red name will drop items when killed in PK. The deeper the red, the higher the chance that you will drop items and possibly equipped gear on death. Cannot go Blue Name in this status since you're wanted. Wait a few hours for each step of Red Name to get back to White Name status.

    Rules of PK for PvE and PvP servers:
    PvE Server:
    Made for grinding, farming, questing. PvP/PK is optional. Small button near the mini map/radar will turn on/off PK mode. You log in Blue Named in safe mode. When going White Named by manually changing your PK mode, you will be stuck in White Name for 10 hours unless you relog as long as you are not Red Named. If Red Named, you must wait for White Name to return before going back to Blue Name safe mode. If White Named in PvE servers, Players of any level can kill you reguardless of level difference.

    PvP Server:
    Made for people wanting to fight other players instead of focusing entirely on questing or other reasons for PvE. PvP/PK considered mandatory. From character creation to Level 29 you are Blue Named by default. You do not have the ability to go White Named before Level 30. However, reaching Level 30 permanently places you in White Name status. You are not able to switch between Blue/White Name status as you can on PvE servers. Players of any level can kill you no matter of level difference.

    If I have any stuff wrong in here, please correct me. I jump between this game and many others and it's been awhile since I regularly played PWI. Hope this helps b:cute

    - Hiding in safe zone

    - Having a OP friend shadow you

    - Being influential in a guild EVERYONE wants in (people line up to kiss your butt - even in the forums)

    Hi I have a Mystic at level 50 and I just cant attack anyone in PK! Can someone tell me how I can attack someone in PK?

    1. make sure pk mode is on

    2. disable all your pk protections so that you can target and attack everyone who's in pk mode as well

    3. make sure you're outside of the safe zone
