I just installed the PW client a few days ago; my computer is windows vista home premium, and I'm running at about the optimum sys requirements. What happens is periodically (sometimes not for 4 or 5 hours, and just recently about 3 or 4 times in one hour) the game with close and I'll get a message about a software problem and I'll get what I assume is the PW bug sheet, which I've filled out and sent off a few times. I'm wondering if this is a problem anyone else has had or how I might fix it?

I've been having the same problem since I installed that new patch the other day. It just closes itself out completely for no reason at all.

Please try to Verify files from the Launcher. If there was an error during an update, that'll catch it.

May I ask what graphics card you two are using?

I have an nvidia graphics card. Trying the verification now-- when I was trying to patch the game when I first installed it, I couldn't, if that helps-- but I downloaded the patches from the official page, and that worked fine.

Edited to add-- I completed the verification and it seemed to go fine. :) No error messages, etc.

I am also having this problem, sometimes it happens once an hour, sometimes it happens many times an hour, runnign WIndows Vista hone and an NVIDIA graphics card. I also did the verification and it came through fine without errors, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Try uninstalling your current graphics driver, and getting the most updated ones available directly from nVidia.
