refining bound items

is it possible to do this?
also to socket bound items
to add sockets to bound items?

from the description of the socket stones in CS it looks like you can... anyone can confirm?

  seriously a post about this every 2-3 days yes u can refine socket imbue shards ect just not trade/drop
