    They're not in a variant of l33t speak, if that's what you mean.

    If you're asking whether the game client is translated to normal English, yes; Perfect World International is the best English Language port of this game, and is fairly well set for conversational American English.

    Yes, grim321, the game is translated into English, not some mutant variation like the "engrish" version PW-MY has.

    you do have some players that speak other languages such as Spanish or French, but world chat does not get dominated by twits rambling in Asian characters that the majority of us don't even have on our keyboards.

    That was one of the things I HATED about PW-MY. They boasted about it being an "English" version. Aside from the fact they must have cut and pasted most of the text through Google translator, the game was completely swamped with Asians (nothing against them as a culture, mind you), writing and naming their characters in a character set Westerners (you know, the ones who would actually be attracted to a game advertised to be "English") didn't even have the easy ability to type or copy.

    Try being on a PvP server when you get ganked by a couple of Asian character named players in an Asian character named guild and try to explain to your guildies who ganked you.

    "yeah...that guy named squiggle-double slash-wormy thing and his friend named upside-down tree thing-double equal sign-star just ganked me..."

    Keep that stuff over there! If everyone can't type it, don't allow it!b:angry
