Useless Mounts

I'd just like to know if the mounts are useless save for the fact that it makes you travel faster. Thanks!

    I'm not sure useless is the proper term, but the 'only' effect ground mounts have is a movement speed boost and a graphical effect. Flying mounts obviously let you fly, too.

    Well most mounts are just that...mounted animels that let you travile fatser from place to place:)
