More than one person riding same mount?

Hi all, I read in a lot of places that the mounts (ground mounts like the panthers etc) can be made to accommodate up two people... how does this work? I haven't found any info on how to make a mount ridable for two... I've read that you can train it but no one specifies where. Also is this gender based? Can I share my mount with another girl or is it that only guys and girls can share mounts together (I know the marriage mounts are for guy&girl sharing only but what about normal ones).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    awe ok so it's for male and female only? Are you sure cuz I read that you can "rescue a fallen companion in battle" on a mount... I guess only if you are a guy and your companion is a girl then huh... that's too bad I was hoping to share a mount ride with a friend T_T
