Its your character, your choice. Just make a decision and go with it.

    like Monarch said.

choose the way you like to play and go for it, i mean for example im going to start a fist/claw BladeMaster and lots of people says its bad but hey i find the weapon cool and its more my style so yeah ^.~

what i mean is if you like using swords/blades more than axes or the other way around then go for it.

For PK orientated, it is better that you go for Dual Blade, Single Sword or Fist. You will see a lot of QQ b:cry there

A remarkable feature of the BladeMaster is its steering system, based on the Active Steering Metrics (ASM) and Electronic. This is a template more than a guide, but i'll go through some things which may hopefully help people going the blademaster route.

go with dual axe, they got the most AoE which will make your lvling a lot easier, then when you get to lv 70ish, start learning spear for PK

If you follow this noob's statement, you will 100% regret.

1st, even you are in 80s - 90s, you are still short of skill points, especially if you choose to craft your own items. And there are a lot of defence skill you require to add in. You only can max one Mastery below before 100. Futhermore, you need to add lvl 11 - skill (either hell side or heaven side) , and each skill require more than 2 million skill point, your ultimate mastery's damaging skill - 4.4 million skill points. You can see there is not much available skill point for you.

When you want to choose Mastery , you must decide wisely. Because there are some character you can kill, and some character which are too hard to kill. If you go for Axers, you will be having very very hard time with Archer ( Most players who choose character to pk). Don't listen to most ppl saying that 50% accuracy ring will fix it. NO, it doesn't help much when you face an Archer, even if you have 2 rings. The only thing you see is MISS MISS MISS.

You will understand it what i am talking about , after you play long enough in the game.

!st step is pick what weapon type you wnat. They all have advantages and disadvantages. Some are better at Pk, some with better tanking abilites because more room for con, and some better for tw. I personally choose the dual axes and going higher in dex than most. Dual axes are great for tw because of aoe and more dex instead of con = more eva and chance to hit but with less hp. Just remember BM's are good at everything great in nothing. You just have to pick what you wanna do with your character and go with it.

Like others suggested, own preference... Each and individual have its pros and cons. Depending on your gameplay wise...

    Spear: Strong attack but slow
Dual Blade/Axe: Fast attack but deal lesser damage than spear
Single Sword/Axe: Looks cool, and decent damage with decent speed
Fist: Fastest among all, but damage lessest too...

Correct me if I'm wrong =D
