Am I the only one experiencing this problem? I press the hot key for a skill and it doesn't cast so I end up pressing it twice. Tired of spamming skills, I made a macro of a skill combo list. Most of the time the combo would stop at the first or second skill for some odd reason, forcing me to press the the macro again and start at the first skill once again. This prevents me from reaching the last skill in the combo list and it is annoying to have to constantly restart the skill cycle. Is there a way to fix this?

Pretty much everyone suffer the same problem as you and you can include me in it. Delay's/reaction of key pressed are horrible even with no lag. And macro's are a mess.

I constantly press ESC tons to cancel at every monster's death just so I won't cast on a dead target but be sure that it'll cast on another one I already choosed. And that, is not normal.

I think we all get skill delays. But for the macro problem you descirbe, I suggest checking your macros carefully. I had to redo one because I hadn't allowed enough time for the skill to cooldown before I asked that it be cast again.

    Ask these questions:
Will I have enough Chi to cast the skill?
Will the skill still be in cooldown when I try to cast it again?

Also, your macro will stop if you get hit and your skill is "interrupted". Not much you can do about this except try to not get hit, lol.

yeah this has been a problem for a while its basicaly just the fact that it takes alot more ram to kill something than it does to just stand there so the game twitches. i wish they would fix that

These are probably just bugs in the game. Make sure to report it. This is is still pretty new, so it takes time in order to find every single malfunction and be able to control and repair it. So i guess just rely on your other skills till everything gets fixed.

    ...what?

Sir, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Honestly I don't trust macros to do my work for me, and as far as delay goes, I don't think it's a delay as the first spell you cast doesnt do this. I think the cast time of a spell is what you people are experiencing.

Either that or I'm not getting it.

the previous poster is correct that it sounds like you have not cooled down and the second skill cannot cast. or there is not enough chi. if you press it and you have not fought anything then it will not cast due to not having enough chi (yellow line)

also, when I made my first macro's i would cast the spells but then i would just stand there when it was done and not continue fighting. Be sure to add the sword icon for fighting after you have set your macro spells. this way you will start to fight with whatever you have in your hand.

I have the same problem as the OP. I have plenty of MP, Chi, all that good stuff, but sometimes the skill won't cast until I press the button repeatedly, and I don't think it has to do with cooldown because this happens on the first skill I cast. It also happens when I press the Fly button a LOT, mostly when I am already in the air.
