I was wondering if you need to have a pet skill book for each level of the skill, I talked to the trainer to learn pet skillz, but there are no skillz to learn even though my pet is able to learn the next lvl of its skillz b:puzzled
If I died tomorrow, would you remember my accomplishments, or my failures....

No after u learned them the 1st time its level dependant. taming is every 10 levels i think like 13/23/33/ etc

remember all those skills and pet skills deduct from your own SP

Ok, I have a lvl 23 Darkbreed Wolfkin, it has lvl 1 howl, but I cant train lvl 2, there is no icon in the learn pet skillz window. So how do I get it to lvl 2?

Go buy a level up skill book from the zoologist, then click learn pet skills again. Each booklet costs 200k and lets you level 1 skill 1 level.

That was my original question, is it 1 skill level per book, is the way it works, thats what I was asking, but I was told once the pet knows the skill, its just like your own skillz, you can level it up once your pet reaches the needed level.

Yes. At level 20-40-60 and 80, for a maximum of level 5 for every skill.

Note that some pets may have higher level skills at lower level, so one may have a level 4 skill under level 60.

Wow, ok... so its gonna get expensive to train pets at 200k+ per skill level. Oh well, my pet can stay at lvl 1-2 till I am rich :P

I think the cost should be graduated. 50k lvl2 100k lvl 3 150k and then 200k. It's too expensive for me to go to lvl 2 right now. I decompose all my stuff for gas for my ray because he's so slooooww at regular speed. Even the cash shop ones are too slow. Slow flying speed should be at least twice your running speed. Heck! My elephant goes twice my speed but he has his drawbacks too. Unless I'm doing something wrong, you can't cast from a land mount or have your land pet active at the same time. It seems there should be more continuity with the modes of transport. But that's just me.

Currently my main problem is not money, but skill point. Raising you pet skills also eat your skill points.

On other servers, you can compensate for those skills points by making the daily horse race, get speed badges and trade them for skill points. Here the horse race is not working yet.

Dont know about the horse races yet, but will look into em when they are up and running. That sounds like a good way to get some SP.
