"FB" needed or not?

Well, I keep hearing people looking fior "FB19" parties. After trying to go through the forums, I'm still not sure about these --- are they required in some way, or is it just about killing some boss for drops?

Almost at lvl 19... maybe even there once I cash in the quests that are completed outside Wellspring village.

    They aren't needed but they are recommended. You will get a tablet that allows you to do the actual quest that includes the bosses. And you will get a different quest that involves killing monsters in that place. That quest is usually what gives you amazing rewards. For FB19 the reward is a choice between 2 3-star weapons that are just wonderful. They will most likely last through level 29 in terms of stats.
