Problem running PWI in Windows Vista

Hello guys,

I just dowloaded the whole game with the patch, and I installed it in 2 computers (one in VISTA one with XP), it seems that the game doesn't run with Vista, because I tried in every way to make it works. Actually I don't have ping and status of the server im my pc with Vista, instead I have to play in my pc with XP...
I'll need some help, how do I do to make it work in Vista???

    The game runs fine on my computer, albeit laggy but fine. It's Vista home basic.

    I don't know why I have that problem...I have vista home premium and I installed the game as the forums said...I just run the windows update..everything is in order..but I can't ping with any of the servers...what can I do???
