OMG another update problem, help, I wanna play :(

OK, so, I just downloaded the client and it wants me to patch it. It gives me a box with 3 options. Which ones should i choose?
-update automatically
-manually select server
-resume unfinished updates

So far i have tried Updte automatically and manually select server (both seperate and together) and it always stops like really close to the begining, so I restart the update completely and it re-runs and will stop close to there if not before the same place...:( plz help, this game looks awsome!!

    Ehm, i had the same issue. Theres no easy way around it. You should keep retrying downloading. Also check update automatically and resume unfinished updates, uncheck the manually select server, because theres only one server. So if the download stops, retry, repeat. Thats how i got it.

    thank you surtr, i have looked at that thread many times :D but unfortuanatly, it isnt working, it ALWAYS gets caught on elements.date and idk whats up....

    The best option is to check the "Resume Updates" box and resume the patching process rather than restarting it from scratch each time. Also, make sure that your firewall, router, and/or anti-virus software is blocking neither the game software nor the IP of the patch server, which is 64.74.217.11

    If you can't get the auto-patcher to work then yes, I would recommend trying the manual patch.

    surtr, im sorry to bother u again, but i wanna manual patch, but if i click on the patch and hit OPEN instead of SAVE, what do i do to patch it? (yes i looked around in this thread and i cant find any clear answer, srry :D)

    When you download the manual patch, choose save and save it to a location you can remember. When the download finishes, go there and double-click on the manual patch file (it should be something like ec_patch_1-15.cup) and it will patch automatically and close the launcher. Restart Perfect World and it should be patched.

    omg thank you! haha, unfortuanatly, the 1-15 patch is ganna take 9 hrs....ughhhhh, i guess i wont see you guys on till tomorow hahaha thanks surtr, ur awsome, ill let you guys know if this works tommorow morning :D!!!

    Where in the world are you located (roughly) and what kind of internet connection are you using? Because it shouldn't take nine hours to download a 33mb file.

    omg, i was not ment to play this game, when i downloaded the patch 1-15, it takes 9 hrs and about 3 min. in, it stops and says "cannot download from perfectworldinternational.com must abort" O.o!!!! AHHHH!

    haha, i dont mind, i am frm USA in PA, and the patch from 1-15, is ganna take 9 hrs and 7 min, BUTT i keep having problems....I WANNA PLAY SO BAD! D'=

    The automatic patch nor the manual patch would download for me either, there are serious problems with the downloads.

    I finally got the manual patch to download by using a download manager (DownThemAll), I recommend trying that.
