Ok, I know where to find the Sawflies and I know they're considered the best flying pet around but I can't find any info on where to find those other two.

Anyone know? Are they even in this version?

I would guess they fly over-head of the other 2 starting areas

Actually, they don't. I've been around there and haven't found any so, I bump this a bit to see if anyone knows.

    lol

What? So, the waspkin flies into the ground? So does my sawfly when it's attacking ground mobs. Doesn't tell me anything about where (or if) they are in the game?

The Petite Sawfly is in the sky just north of bamboo village.... and yes the fly pets when used not on flat land tend to get stuck sadly even now also fly pets do less dmg to grounds units anyways just use it and keep it lvled then use a secondary groud pet 30+ grinding in the sky for more exp since air enemy gives more :) i personally use a golem and just bring out the fly when i lvl to keep it at my lvl then back to golem rinse and repeat :)

Ellie, you need to re-read the link, it tells exactly where it is found.

Actually it doesn't, it tells me where to find a forest waspkin which is not the same as a petite waspkin.

Based on the PWdatabase, it appears the petite waspkin doesn't exist in the game yet.

Go to this page, and search Waspkin. You'll see a table and next to petite waspkin is shows a - int he Exists column.

Hm... call me stupid, but how you tame these? I can't seem to do anything, neither tamae nor attacking works (probably can't attack reasonably anyway... the fly is lvl 8, and I should be one-shotting it... so I hope the taming works at 100% HP :-))

She's asking specifically where the Vespin & Waspkin are. Obviously the site she linked shows where the sawfly is & she knows the Bamboo Forest. I've been wondering the same thing myself (where they are) I've searched the starting areas for the humans and beastmen but nothing so far. If you find out can you please post so I can know Ellie. Good luck!

Kargor pull one down with your tame ability, make sure you start max magic. If you're really lucky you'll tame it at 100%, but if you don't then it will come down to melee level with you. Then you should hit it (barehanded if you have to) to hurt it enough that you normally would win a tame. With it down past 25% it took me about 3 tries still. :( But I think it just wasn't my lucky day.
