This game is seriously beginning to **** me off.

Ever since the Game Client was updated to 15, I've had to restart my damn computer just to play the game. I had to start up the patcher as soon as windows started back up or else if I waited too long to start up the patcher I get an error message saying "Patcher has encountered a problem and needs to close" or something close to that.

I sent in an error report form like a thousand times already and never recieved a reply. This started September 25th. I didn't download any of the patches from external sources. I had another problem a couple of weeks back in Sept when my game randomly closed. I solved that problem and now I get this piece of ****.

These problems and lack of communication from the Tech Support is really starting to get to me.

Also when I tried to uninstall the game. Patcher.exe was still on my comp. I tried to delete it but my computer said "You need permission to perform this action" and I'm the admin of my comp and the only one that uses it. And I also want to know why the hell it won't allow me to uninstall or delete patcher.exe. I check all my rights on the comp and it said I have full control over everything that's on the comp.

    hm its odd that you're not able to delete the file. try to delete it in windows safe mode. if it won't let you do...

    upload patcher.exe to www.virustotal.com and watch if the file is infected, maybe. just an idea.
    not ment to be offend. just give it a try. if its clean, better for you. if not.... ^^

    LoL...

    First, to solve your dilemma with deleting the patcher.exe, you want to click on Start, Control Panel, User Accounts, then click on "Turn User Account Control on or off" if you don't care about master accounts and guest accounts, stuff like that ****.

    Vista programs a secret user admin even if you're the only individual user on the computer. It's **** but its Vista. You have to disable that

    Actually I did do a virus scan on the patcher and there were no viruses found.
    I also had UAC disabled a long time ago because it was causing me problems with my other applications.

    Just another one of those "unexplained" problems I guess.... -_-

    hm. vista sucks sometimes. but better turn on UAC. the advantage is much higher then the problem it can cause. it really helps to protect your system. hmm. not sure if you're firm with the registry. if yes you know what to do. if not. then better don't touch it ;)

    wat OS are u using... windows xp, window vista, or some other OS? .... if u are using Window Vista then I think it has something to do with vista... my cousin got vista and he has lots of problem with perfect world too.

    I already tried turning on the UAC and I got the same result with the patcher. I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about with the registry, but cleaning it didnt do the job either.

    Also kingcorp I'm using vista, I'm having a hard time believing it's vista. Because I haven't had this problem until the game client updated to 15. I've been playing since early September and I've never had this problem until the client updated to 15.
