foreign error message

ive dwnloaded all patches i possibly can and ive uninstalled the game twice and reinstalled it, hell ive even redownloaded the game but every time i press start game on the launcher it waits about 10 seconds and then comes up with a foreign error message, has any1 got a solution??

    You will need to install the East Asian Language pack that is on your original Windows disc.
    Outlined below is a step-by-step guide to installing it in your computer. (For Windows XP - Vista users might have to undergo different steps. They should still be similar)

    Try it and see if it works for you:

    1. Insert your Windows XP CD
    2. Go to Control Panel
    3. Go to Regional and Language Options
    4. Click on the "Languages" Tab
    5. Click on the "Install files for East Asian Languages" checkbox and make sure that it's checked.
    6. Click on the OK button for the dialog box that appears.
    7. Click on the OK button of the window to close it, and begin the installation.

    i have already done this and to no avail, ive read up on the other messages and installed this asian package and yet no response :(

    What anti virus program are you running? I've seen that error before when Trend Micro decided that the Launcher.exe file was a trojan and deleted it.

    im running norton anti-virus, its really annoying me, i so wna play this game but im on the verge of giving up!

    Definately check to see if the launcher.exe file is still on your computer, if it is make sure its listed as an exception in Norton. Also check the client.exe file for the same.

    they are listed as exceptions but the same error message continues to appear :(

    What windows are you running? Do you have Admin rights for your windows profile?

    The only other thing I would guess at is your Quarentine in Norton. Its still possible you got a false positive on a file from the game.

    well i think i may give up trying, ive been going at it for 2 days now so its reli not worth investing any more of my time, thank you for your help, i will keep checking back here if any1 else has any solutions cos this game looks awesome
